Is there anywhere in LA to get away from the "Cultural Enrichment"?
They’ve got crack shacks on the same street as antebellum mansions in the Garden District in New Orleans.
Wildest shite I’ve ever seen.

I will say Lafayette has some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life.

I'd say Missouri, but I'm not sure it is actually an "SEC state"

The best place I have lived in is prob Georgia. Rome, Georgia, had a great atmosphere.

Louisiana is awesome if you can swing it. Good neighborhoods are pricey and you have to pay for private school for the most part. I’ve always said LA is a fantastic place to be upper class or lower class. Middle class gets screwed here.
But if you can manage it - the food, drink, and culture is 2nd to none, there’s always something happening, can be outdoors year round, and close to everything besides mountains.

What do these five states have in common?
No, not that you bunch of racist. Large swaths of nothing. Literally miles and miles of flat, grassy land.
I think people on here are saying that the people taking the survey were the racists...

I don't listen to those lists. I've lived in almost every state in the South and MS and LA will always be at the top of my list from people to places. We still have our camp in Bay St. Louis and are constantly going back to Baton Rouge and New Orleans for football games and events. I moved to TX after Katrina and have recently moved back but I'll always consider LA and MS my two favorite places.

Mississippi, and I live here.
We are in a shithole State, accept it.
