BTW. You can be a great guy and a mediocre coach at the same time.
Go back and read the post I responded to. I was not responding to if he was a bad OC. I responded to a comment about him being a piece of work which is not discussing his ability as an OC.

Oh,yea. And playing Nichols, SE La and La Tech is just awesome.
Who is arguing for them on a yearly basis?

He's back to 210lbs. with a goal of 220 by next year. Excited for the guys drafted and mentions that fall ball will be pretty intense.
220 lbs is a good weight to aim for. Will be better for him in recovery and also allow him to go later in games without losing much velocity. If Schmidt and Evans can progress like there talent shows we could have a very dominant team top to bottom.
The fact there were only 7 ranked road matchups in 4 years makes it even more embarrassing we didn't win anything under his tenure. We had a very favorable schedule in '22 and '23.

It's the state's two most important institutions (by far) and we have a 130-plus year history together.
No history the past 30+ years. Again, it doesn't mean anything anymore. My family and I were upset when it stopped 30 years ago but guess what the program grew and that rivalry faded into nothing while LSU became a power house in the 2000's. There is zero reason to put them back on the schedule on a yearly basis. Unless Tulane is able to join the SEC (which they won't be able to since they made the dumb decision to leave the conference) then there is nothing to gain from it.
Only OSU fans don't want to recognize LSU as WRU. Even Bama fans admit we've had studs at WR for decades.

If College Football is still the wild west in 3-5 years then yes I would expect it to be sold similar to Jerry Jones selling the rights to AT&T.
Which would be sad but thats the current state of affairs.

I get Florida on the schedule every year but you lose me when you say Tulane. They haven't been regularly on the schedule for decades. 1993 or 1994. Thats over 30 years with them not on the schedule on a annual basis. Its been the norm to not have them. I don't want that game back on the schedule on an annual basis it means nothing anymore.

Hayden Travinski - Signed with the Astros and played a little bit of Rookie ball. Looks to be out of baseball. Always a national Champ and owner of one of the most violent swings I've ever seen.
Will always be one of my favorite Tigers. Glad he got his shot even if it was short lived. His streak at the end of '23 will always be one of the best stories. When he was on it was almost impossible to stop our offense.

I prefer the alternative tiger eye but if I can only choose between those then I choose the 2002-2006.

The Tennessee Debacle at the goal line comes to mind.
I mean now that I am thinking about it. I love Brandon Lafell but he had 2 of the worst drops I have ever seen in '07 against Florida and Auburn and both of those drops were tipped up and led to interceptions. We won both of those games but from a player standpoint those were pretty embarrassing.

Most embarrassing play or sequence in a game?
I mean I would say the shuffle pass Jordan Jefferson tried to throw to Spencer Ware on 1/9/12 when he was blocking for him that resulted in an interception would be it for me.

Hes a combo of a receiver who never played and an All-Time great slot receiver? Thats a weird combo to suggest lmfao. Chris was fast but feel like you could have chosen someone else.

So far, from the 2023 CWS I've found 20 Major Leaguers. There are several more on the cusp. I truly think it's the most talent laden field we've seen in Omaha in our lifetime.
Was a very loaded CWS which made for great games all the way around until the last two.

No team will get to 20 points on this defense this year. 85 Bears and 26 LSU will be widely regarded as the greatest defenses to ever be assembled. Enjoy the ride.
Those are two bold claims.

Not playing Auburn and Florida every year is the cost we paid to import a bunch of fruits from Texas into the conference.
And it was not worth it.
Go back to 12 teams.
I couldn't agree more. Never should have taken the Aggies and Mizzou back in 2012. Big 12 should have stayed together and SEC should have stayed with the original 12.
This is a very good thing.
Really wanting to see how the offense looks in the first Quarter.
