re: Does the elevation at Knoxville help with homeruns?
the stadium is tiny af and the direction the stadium faces always catches the wind blowing out…I’ve seen some dinky arse pop ups fly out because of the wind.
I would expect it to help our team especially the hitters like Neal, Travinski, White, and Jones who fly out to the track whe...
re: Another big pickup for Men’s Basketball

Seems to be a really big pickup will see how he fits into the SEC. But very good get from the jump....
re: If we lose 2/3 or 3/3 vs Tennessee we are fricked
Posted by IM_4_LSU on 4/11/24 at 8:50 am
Would be nice to see more 3-Run and 2-Run HRs this weekend from Jones, Travinski, and White....
re: Expectations for year 3 of Brian Kelly

A successful year 3 would be to be in contention for the playoff at the end of the regular season....

This actually made me laugh out loud....
re: LSU vs Tennessee this weekend thoughts…
Posted by IM_4_LSU on 4/10/24 at 9:56 am
LSU took 2/3 against them in Alex Box with record crowds. Then LSU beat them twice, knocking them out of the CWS.
Yeah, Tennessee is not overlooking LSU they want to sweep us. They will be highly motivated....
He was listed as 5'11" as a recruit, I don't think that is ideal height but he may have grown a bit. But if he has speed and cover skills the only drawback at 5'11" is covering the taller receivers on 50/50 balls.
5'11 while not the "ideal" height is not short. If he was 5'9 then s...

Been far too long without a HR from him. Need his bat to come to life this weekend....
re: Not only 3 HRs but one to each field
Posted by IM_4_LSU on 4/10/24 at 6:03 am
We hit a lot of balls Friday that will be out of the park in Knoxville. The other side of the coin is they’re hitting more HRs this year than they did 2 years ago up to this point
Their Park is always going to get a lot of HRs....
re: Listen up Folks.. LSU baseball team will be fine
Posted by IM_4_LSU on 4/10/24 at 6:01 am
This year is a lost year.
Even if this is the case the season can still be a fun one to watch if the team can find a little more consistency at the plate and find a few more arms to count on from the pitching staff.
I enjoy watching Travinski, Jones, White hit. I always enjoy wa...
re: Anyone at the game see Braswell in the dugout?
Posted by IM_4_LSU on 4/10/24 at 5:57 am
Plus Kucherak can’t hit
Far too early to say that he cannot hit. But yes Braswell's improvement at the plate is going to be the reason he gets back into the lineup....
re: Very glad for the run rule W
Posted by IM_4_LSU on 4/10/24 at 5:55 am
Sure that’s great, but Tennessee has over 50 runs in their last 3 games
Going to be a lot of HRs in that Park this weekend. I still like our chances with Holman pitching though....
but since 2001 House has had 13 jobs
That is a lot. Which his personality is probably a major factor in why he has had that many jobs in that time frame. Just such a disappointment considering how the defense played at times in 2022. Really thought the defensive future looked brigh...
re: LSU baseball could legitimately lose their first 6 SEC series
Posted by IM_4_LSU on 4/10/24 at 5:49 am
They’ll get swept and run-ruled Sunday at Tennessee
I still like our chances when Holman pitches. And I am sure something in the game is going to happen to force Jay to use Herring to close the game out and then we lose the next two games....
re: Why not give Anderson an chance to start on Sundays?
Posted by IM_4_LSU on 4/10/24 at 5:47 am
He hasn’t pitched as the starter in the sec
Hasn't looked good vs SEC hitting. So not going to just put him out there to start. Easing freshman into that role to see if they can handle it is usually how it works to not lose their confidence.
Now to be fair our pitching outside...

re: SEC transfer rules
Posted by IM_4_LSU on 4/8/24 at 7:06 am
South Carolina is not losing anybody but if that is where she chooses to go to then best of luck to her. She will probably be in the rotation and get to shoot a lot of shots when she gets put into the lineup and be in the running for a championship but if she wants to be the volume shooter she was t...
