Yes, epic scene. The issue is that there's an entire game after that point and it's extremely mediocre. It had by far the weakest writing and least interesting party of the first three games. It's very telling when the best parts of the game are when party members from old games show up to reference Origins/DA2. Played through once, uninstalled, and never touched it again.

In reference to games like MMO's that literally are only online interaction, if a company decides to pull the plug on the experience entirely, there should be zero legal recourse for that company to go after anyone who wants to host that game on a server out of their own pocket.

Now the details about whether or not the new host should be allowed to make money on micro-transactions or sub fees themselves could be up for debate. If you went the direction of requiring the company to put the source code up for purchase and have the new host pay for it, I think that should be allowed. In the event that it would just be people yoinking whatever code they could get to host the game, I wouldn't mind putting restrictions on being able to charge for in-game services and subscriptions. Possibly make it to where it could only be supported through donations with zero reward incentives other than keeping the game going.

Either way, making a product that has been paid for entirely inaccessible should not be an option.

Considering the temperature on the hill right now, I'd be completely shocked if Yurachek outlasts Silverfield. If he does, that'll all but confirm that Cal pretty much owns the athletic department right now. Which will also ramp up the pressure on him to provide more than a Sweet 16.

At most I'd see them both getting replaced in the same year, but I think the new AD giving Silverfield another year at least is more likely if the rumors of Silverfield securing funding he wasn't able to use this year are actually true. Of course that's also assuming that funding doesn't back off after the showing this year.
