@ Oklahoma win
I hope you’re right Jang, but Okie just beat that Vandy team we lost to at their place last Saturday. I think Steven is in trouble in terms of keeping this group of guys believing in him. Hope I’m wrong and we rally, but I’m not feelin it.
So odd that we would hit this losing streak after beating the Gators in Gainesville. But I think we just don’t have the horses and fatigue is a factor. It’s fine to pair down to a 7 or 8 man rotation as a team enters the postseason, but it’s another thing to try and play the entire year with that tight a rotation. We basically have a ballboy/intramural player spelling Pett when he’s out. Our bench is weak sauce. Walker can shoot but he’s a huge defensive liability. Plus, when Hall is off his game as he has been the last few games, we have no plan B. As he goes, we go.
Jay made some tough decisions some good, some bad, but a net positive I think for his tenure. He
still has the highest paid pension in the history of the state of Alabama. If memory serves, they changed the pension rules and he was able to be grandfathered into the old way while taking advantage of the new way and it resulted in a massive pension… something like a half million dollars a year just in pension retirement. Auburn made him a very wealthy man.

This team is in trouble. You can feels the wheels coming off the track. They were in the thick of it with the win at UF but since then the lack of depth has caught up to them. We’re hustling out there but we just don’t have the horses.
They are fricking killing us in the paint
Doesn’t feel like Hall and Pettiford like each other

I hear you, but he has one chance to set a standard. ESPECIALLY if he is a new coach.

The kids in high school or college (in transfer portal) will look at Nate Oats and say “as long as I don’t kill someone - he will let me play.”
Yeah but do you want kids like that in Auburn’s program. frick’em. Let them take their lessons, pay the dumbass tax, and play for another school. Oats is a bonafide piece of shite and he will attract other pieces of shite, as witness by his thug arse players. Let them go to play for Oats.

Wow. Missed that entirely. I bet that’s it for him this year then. What an idiot.

So it looks like they’re moving Kevin Overton to back up Pettiford and run the point when he’s not in there. Makes me wonder what happened to Kaden Magwood? I knew he was in the doghouse but good grief…it’s been weeks since we’ve even heard anything. Must have been a pretty egregious violation to make all these moves just to avoid playing him.

We’d have a solid case for being the class of the SEC in the 80s with our 4 SEC titles were it not for the fact it took us a couple of years to get rolling with Dye.
We started the decade off 0-6 in the SEC in 1980 which hurt us as far as the entire decade. But from 83-89 we were the class of the league for sure. 4 titles in 7 seasons.

Honestly reminds me a lot of how BP built his program in basketball.

There are Actual Kirby Cup PolyMarket odds on who will win
Teamed up with a Bediako’s dirtbag lawyer to postpone Friday’s hearing so he can play the rest of the year.
