My point exactly.

The president of the NCAA

Who knows who this person is off the top of your head? Without googling it. What’s his name?

I couldn’t tell you, and neither could 90% of this board. Talk about a vacuum of leadership. More people know the different conference commissioners names than they do the president of the NCAA.

I haven’t seen this guy on a podcast, seen an article written about him, radio interview, nothing. Doesn’t mean much other than it just shows how feckless and unimportant the NCAA is in all this.

Just a note to say we are bringing Walker Kesler and Jabari Smith back. They will start this Saturday against the Gators.
Been some lean years in the loveliest village for sure.

But Drago is coming to crush your spirit.
Why not… There are no rules anymore. College sports is now a career path.

What a fricking clown show college sports has become

Why didn’t Auburn hire cignetti?

Not gimmicky enough…and he doesn’t have Creed Jammies.
Jarrett Stidham about to get his Nick Foles aura going.

if majority of our fans just contributed the minimum. It would be a sizable annual number.

Depends on one’s priorities, really. I follow college ball because I have all my life and it’s a fun distraction from real life, but it’s not real life. I have many financial priorities and helping to pay kids money to play football is not among them. Not even in the top 100. If we die we die in this new world.
Hay is in the barn for the most part. All in all I think Drago and staff did about as good as can be expected in the portal. Addressed positions of need and kept enough of Durkin's defense to have a chance to be really good on defense again.

Im pulling for Drago. I like the cut of his jib. But I don’t expect a super high swing upward. We’ve got enough South Florida guys to at least set the culture standard moving into spring ball and with a stellar off-season of weight training we could surprise a few teams maybe. I think we’ll look competent enough to improve our recruiting and have recruits and portal guys see the potential at least. Thats about all you can ask for year 1. We have sucked since most of the players were in middle or elementary school and we’re on our 4th coach since Covid.

UGA, Bama, Tennessee, Ole Miss…4 teams who’ve reached the playoff on the last 2 seasons on the road, along with LSU, Florida, and Vandy at home will be a challenge.

At least it’ll be interesting to watch A-day for the first time in a while.

In the preseason I honestly felt like Stidham was the better NFL QB.

Big time opportunity for Jarrett. If he plays well, even in a loss, somebody will pick him up with a raise. And if he somehow finds a way to win and get to the Super Bowl someone will pay him big money.
Did Jacoby Mathew’s even play last year? All the names run together for an old head like me.
Pretty much the same team

Both 10-7, both 1-3 in the league, but somehow we are an 11.5 point favorite. Minnie Pearl needs to show something at home today.

LSU not doing the right thing

Honestly have they ever? They always seem to be on the side of grifting in pretty much any policy matter.
I don’t think there’s any real credible way to rank transfer portal classes

I think a lot of people forget (me included, until I watch highlights) how good he was in 2013.

We got on a roll after the Miss State game and Mason was impossible to stop. He could split a seam better than any back we’ve ever had. Just needed two inches and boom he was through there.
I’m not a cruise guy at all, went on one cruise many many years back and I swore it off for good, but I’ve been told that the exception of the rule is the Alaska cruises.
