I'll be a believer 100 percent when it is the team he recruited and built via the portal. Not to knock him, he has done exactly what he was supposed to with the situation he inherited.
With respect to Trinidad, Lane had him buried on the depth chart until injuries forced his hand. Sometimes those things just happen...see Stetson Bennett.
But I do want to see if he can maintain success. Having said that from a long term perspective Lane has as much to prove. He has yet to thrive at a program like LSU with that level of pressure and expectation and he has yet to get over the hump and win those big games consistently. People just pencil him in as elite. I'm not convinced.

To be fair, Lane was a known quantity when Ol’ Piss hired him so it’s hard to feel too bad for them. The Vols were the ones who got hosed.

I give more of a crap about this game than the LSU/Ol’ Piss game. I just want that BS over with. This game is actually interesting since we get both of you and not much is known either way yet.
I wish both teams would lose the other game.
