No. It’s a football team not pancreatic cancer.

Yep. If you report what’s really going on, you lose access. Josh Pate has access.

Yep. The standard American diet is the sugar based diet. Long on dialysis clinics for the foreseeable future.

No one is impressed by a degree from an SEC school with the exception of Vandy. Low bar.

Plus spotting bama a td earlier when the wr dragged the db to the ground and gets the pass interference call. When you’re used to getting 75% of the big calls it feels like your being cheated when it only goes 65% in your favor.

Private equity ruins everything. Eventually these “donors” will be looking for “efficiencies”.

Libertarianism is how the country mostly functioned for the first 100 years with the notable exception of chattel slavery. It can only function in a high-trust, moral society. We don’t have that. Reason/Cato have no regard for culture and advocate importing the third world who don’t care about your property rights, free speech, gun rights, tax dollars and don’t understand why it’s not ok to assault women. So ironically the largest voice of Libertarianism is the entity that advocates policies that will destroy any remaining semblance of libertarianism. They’re really Libertines.

They aren’t comparable at all. Tennessee had just gone 3-7 (the worst record in our history), hadn’t won 10 games in 14 years, had 17 level 1 violations, and had the biggest transfer portal exodus in football history (even more than Penn State after Paterno). We were essentially a dead program facing the death penalty. Our AD, chancellor, and university president were all fired. The situation Heupel inherited was tons worse than what Kelly got. Hell Kelly took over a program with multiple SEC titles and a natty since the vols last 10 win season. LSU had players in the league and name support. Tennessee had nothing.
Yep. The local press watching Huepel’s first spring practice were questioning if we would even be able to field a team in the fall. It was that bad. 7-5 that year was a miracle.

There is no variation in Heupel’s scheme. You either have the athletes to defend it or you don’t. UGA does, which is why they shut it down every year.
This is so wrong its not even funny.

Ga plus the points. Georgia has a better roster although this is the best roster Heupel has had so far.

re: Are The Political Left & The Political Right Farther Apart Than Ever? Can Anything Be Done?
Posted by midnight orange on 9/1/25 at 4:05 pm to KCT
They’re far apart because the left is running in a sprint leftward. The “neocon” right can’t catch up and act as the right flank of the political left because they’re so crazy they would alienate their Fox News constituency. The neocon right also can’t maneuver to the right because that would mean tearing down their own institutions.
As clarification I say neocon right as a descriptor. There aren’t really anymore neocons. The neocon philosophy was fully absorbed by the Republican Party and Conservative Inc. So really neocon just means republican.
