Arkansas wasn't a culture fit in an all Texas conference either and certainly a political misfit.

Totally isolated and at a disadvantage.

It would politically be much better than the suffocating SWC that flanked them from all sides.

It's what they do.

I don't mind playing them.

I don't want to be in a conference with them.

Just to get away from Texass is worth the trouble.
At least we don't poison trees and shoot people over a football game.
They are not going to give national player of the year to a player on a team with eight losses.
He said in own words that he will keep coaching to help out both players and families financially.
Arkansas was never going to rub elbows with those programs while the AD then was a former head football coach.
They began to decline with the NCAA investigation that found nothing.
Don't forget.

Dana Altman 24 hours.
When he was hired, I predicted five years at Arkansas before hog fans started getting tired of him.

He is more concerned about players getting drafted than getting Arkansas to a final four.

Late season collapse.
With lesser talent than Cal at Kentucky.
This is why Nolan is the GOAT.

If he had that much talent at Arkansas, it would be a dynasty.
