They shouldn't have hired that check collector.
Peterson is not, the holy spirit would never allow him to say that if he was.

He really wants to but I think he is afraid of the sacrifices he would have to make if he made that decision.

State would have a punchers chance in the Big 12.

Arkansas should have rough it a little more longer and they would be in the Big 12 with the rivalries still intact.

Now Arkansas is just a warm body collecting a check from the SEC.

The addition of Texas and Oklahoma will only further push Arkansas down the pecking order.

I remember when Barry Switzer said Arkansas should have joined the Big 12.

Being the second worst SEC team since 2012, he was right.

I know a friend of the family that was an NFL scout and currently a GM for a CFL team.

He wanted to sign Teslaa back in November but once he got an invite to the NFL combine, he had no shot of getting him to the CFL.

Good on State for sending that check collector packing.

Not very many will bounce back in the new era of NIL.

So how much money does State need to spend to go 6-6 every year?

Unfortunately for State the revenue sharing doesn't help them when the competition gets the money as well.

They aren't broke, they just don't have as much money as the rest of the SEC.

It's why it is important for them to hire above average coaches in all sports to be an overachiever.

Looks like State has given up in football like Arkansas.

Both need to focus on basketball and baseball.

They need to avoid getting swept.
Not if they only take 1/3 from each series the rest of the way.
They need worry about hosting a regional.
I got tickets to the Thursday game. I got slapped with a ridiculous amount of hidden fees. I don't like the idea of going with the potential of getting stomped paying this much money.
They got rated too high in the preseason. Just like the Aggies in football, Arkansas baseball gets the praise and top 10 rankings lately but crash in the end.

Arkansas is a underdog sports program, they never do good when they are expected to be good. DVH best seasons were when they flew under the radar.

2004, 2009, 2012, 2015 and 2022.
Not with these injuries.
Yes an early exit.

2023 it was TCU and last year it was Southeast Missouri State.
