Bert had good offenses. That wasn't his problem but going 8-14 in one possession games was what did him in.
The beginning of the end was when he had both 24-7 leads against Missouri and Virginia Tech to end the 2016 season. Instead of showing progress at 9-4, Arkansas finished 7-6.

It is very likely Arkansas is going back to the old policy that is if a coach has back to back losing seasons then he is fired.
If Pittman has a losing season then he is fired but that is not likely after last Saturday with a lot of winnable games coming up. ...
