The issue here is that Tennessee fans literally made a book about winning a non playoff bowl just a couple of years ago (yes this is real).

Well they've certainly done better than LSU and Tennessee.

Certainly better than his predecessor at least - Johnny Majors went 14-35-6 against final ranked teams at Tennessee.

39-40-1 against final ranked teams. Not terrible but not good.

Yeah. 20+ years as a Jags fan has made me a negative nelly but I doubt teams are scared of facing him in the playoffs like they are with Josh Allen.

I'd love for GT to be consistently better but the average student doesn't care about sports and they don't have the typical majors to hide athletes in.
