This place is going to look like Jonestown when the coach is announced. Going to be hilarious.
LSU has been screwed in the past by trying to appease the outrage. Alleva held off on firing miles because of the “optics”. Woodward fired Wade because of the “optics”. Thats two examples off the top of my head.

Right or wrong, the people in charge of this hire need to stick to their guns.

3) We ran off a legit University President because he didn't see eye to eye with our Governor.

Meh. Tate was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I don’t have a problem with this.

5) We ran off a AD who had a NC in football, NC in baseball, NC in womens basketball, and NC in gymnastics (Baseball, Womens basketball, and gymnastics were his hires). Yes he shite the bed with BK hire but on paper... I get it.

He had to be convinced to hire Jay Johnson after a failed pursuit of Kevin O’ Sullivan. And those are all nice hires but none of those programs pay the bills besides baseball. His handling of BK and Will wade cost him his job.

I agree with most your post though.

I could be over thinking it but the unregulated part applies to the sale. I’m assuming this is going after corner stores and gas stations selling all kinds of stuff with no oversight.

Thats at least the way it reads to me.

This doesn’t sound like the drinks will be removed from rouses and other grocery stores. Am I missing something?

One of the things that have helped me tremendously was these 5mg drinks you can buy at Rouses and Total Wine.

Will these be going away? Would be a tragedy if so. I don’t think people understand what a game changer these are for alcoholics and people who just want to get off the bottle.

At this point gotta wonder if any coach wants to come to this dumpster fire

 some of you need to seek mental help.

Not that Dan Lanning is happening, but Id like to make nike pay him more espcially with their furry bs coming out.

Maybe the furry stuff makes lanning want to come back south. A man can dream

Simpson over Mendoza

Simpson needs another year of college IMO, but going to be tough to pass up the money after seeing guys like Nuss and Klubnik come back and tank their stock.
And he had to be coaxed into the baseball hire after failing to hire O’Sullivan from UF.

Mulkey was a good hire, but like you said, WBB doesn’t pay the bills.

South Carolina is probably below at least 2 of these in terms of overall athletic programs. I wouldn’t be so quick to cast stones.
Of course he is, look at who he learned under. James carville has never seen a camera he can’t get in front of.

For the record - I think Landry is a moron too, but Woodward and Kelly are not victims. Let’s drop that narrative.
Woodward lining up all his media fanboys to carry his water is hilarious.

He’s given out 100s of millions in contracts that failed, he’s fired a basketball coach which cost the school millions and was a mistake, and everyone here bitches daily about the state of the gameday atmosphere and campus which is a direct cause of Woodward and his buddy Tate.

But now because the media is mocking LSU, the Tiger rant can’t handle it.

I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but this is likely the route we were going anyway. Kiffin and Saban is a pipe dream.
1. This board is unstable and anytime posters start getting trolled on the SEC rant they implode.

2. This is a lot of change and a lot of uncertainty. Mentally unstable people don’t handle these kind of things well. Hence the outbursts here.

3. This is unfortunately playing out in public. A lot of what is happening is probably normal in a contract dispute, but because the governor could not keep his mouth shut, unstable people have access to all the inner workings. This is adding to the chaos, confusion, and uncertainty. Which again, mentally unstable people (Tiger Rant) don’t handle well.
I’ve always liked the nfl more but I’m even moreso becoming disinterested in college football. I don’t watch much college football anymore besides LSU.

The pageantry and tradition are all but gone, and if I’m going to watch guys get paid like professionals, I’ll just watch professional football.
I can tell lots of posters in here that are posting during the middle of a work day are very experienced with contracts and buyouts

Is that a new orleans thing?

When I was at Brother Martin the only games I can remember having to purchase tickets for were the state championship basketball games at the Cajun dome.

Maybe playoff football games but I honestly can’t remember.
I’m curious to see the Mizzou hot board if drink were to leave. He’s feels like as good as Mizzou is getting.

He’s a guy I’m open to at LSU, but I know our fanbase will melt
