The team has let this fanbase down in a big way.

I’ll agree we probably don’t have the horses of Bama, UGA, and Texas just yet.
But we certainly have the talent to beat a Kentucky. We had a chance to win that game and didn’t take it.
Our head coach talked himself out of winning the game and our defense laid a complete egg.

I’d be a lot less upset with this loss if we had gone for the 4th and 1 and failed.
We had a chance to try and win that game by picking up a single yard and punted it away.

Kiffin was paid a lot of money to make the difficult choices like going for that 4th and 1. We could have kept Kelly to punt there.
Baker has no excuses, I’m firmly off his train. Nobody gets more overhyped by beating up on lesser teams and getting totally out schemed when he’s playing a QB who has a pulse.

This thread is a perfect example of why youth sports are awful now. There’s absolutely no accountability, it’s always the coaches fault.
It didn’t even occur to OP that the coach was potentially challenging someone he considers a high level golfer knowing she needs a birdie. Maybe the coach has confidence in her being aggressive that your daughter doesn’t have in herself.
Instead of helping your daughter develop in those spots your solution is to light up the ADs office, who I assure you does not care. If your daughter wants to play at a high level you better make a lot of birdies. Laying up on par 5s isn’t how you do that.
