Jackie Sherrill.

He’s the only one I’ve met, but I doubt it would change.

Johnny Majors. Felt like talking to my grandad, and boy did he have stories for days and a dislike for Fulmer and Dickey

His daughter Bonnie was playing Hal & Mals in Jackson and my drummer was subbing in so I got to meet him. He was a force of a personality. Liked him a lot.

RC Slocum. Great guy, even though I hate the Aggies.

I spoke with Tuberville a few times when I was on his team. He was an a-hole.

Met Coach O once at a meet and greet photo opportunity at Ole Miss. My wife and I walked up for the pic and he asked where we were from. I said, we're from Alabama coach. He said, I love it when Alabama folks come to Ole Miss!! He also told me, you look like you could still play! I was in my 40's at the time. As we walked away I told my wife, if he thinks I could still play I know what's wrong with this damn football team!! We did enjoy meeting him!

Had the opportunity to have dinner with Paul Dietzel once. Such a genuinely kind and sincere man. Just a great human. Wish more coaches were like him.

Met Gerry DiNardo in a hot tub in Sandestin when I was 12 or 13. Don't usually start the story that way.

Billy Brewer.. At a dinner sat next to him, where he dogged on Hugh Freeze for running shotgun formations on short yardage plays.

Nick Saban when he was at LSU. You could tell he could be a a-hole, but was actually decent to be around.

Hugh Freeze- Actually liked the guy

Matt Luke- really cool guy.

Dan Mullens- One of the biggest pricks you will meet.

I don't have one.

I met Houston Nutt back in 2004 before the Texas game. He was polite and was talking the ear off of my friend who is a GM for a CFL team.

Met Ken Hatfield who played a joke on me as an usher in 2007. Nicest person I have ever met. Too bad hog fans treated him like shite in the 80s.

Met Nolan Richardson who was very nice. We started talking about Malzahn and he started to get angry. I shook his hand and told him thanks.

I talked to Bert at some dog event in Fayetteville. He didn't have much to say and was a bit of an a-hole.

Gene Stallings. No one else comes close. I'd have run through a brick wall for him if he'd asked.
