Why would they ask for money for players who got processed out!

Sounds like OM is poor...
lol, we set a donation record this year, doubled the last record.
It's still $1 million. You would be a fricking moron to just let it walk. But apparently LSURulzSEC has all the millions in the world.

Not sure why any player would think they can sign a contract with a 6 digit buyout and just walk away without paying the buyout.

Who does the bbq nachos at Vaught?
It's been different vendors over the years. It was Corky's for a while but it's something else now.

BBQ nachos and beer
- Heupel or Venables
Heupel just can't seem to keep the train on the tracks, while Venables has shown that he can learn from mistakes and get better
- Drinkwitz or Golding
Under Golding, our recruiting has really taken a step forward. His performance in the playoff games and the way he navigated the program through that coaching change was better than I could actually hope for.
- Sumrall or Golesh
Sumrall has the potential to be a great coach.

re: Head coaching question

After thinking about this for a bit, I am of the opinion that you can't suck at either but balancing it out is probably the best. Good Xs and Os guys can lose a locker room if they suck at team / personnel management. But it doesn't matter how good you are at management if you suck at Xs and Os.
Head coaching question

What is more important for a modern day SEC head coach to be successful? Is it team management or is it Xs and Os?
I believe that Sumrall is actually a good coach.

With NIL and the Portal that approach doesn’t work.
The funny thing is that since NIL started, the teams that have done the best with it have been pretty consistent. Most of y'all just don't like the new order.

s. It would be nice if LSU actually added/renovated something for the fans given the money poured into the program over the years
I feel the same way, my friend. Fans have been the jilted party in all of this. Our prices have gone up exponentially and we just get treated as milk cows more than anything.

This is strictly facilities talk.

We put a 3 year moratorium in place to figure out the impacts of NIL and Revenue Sharing. We are starting to spin up the projects now.

LSU is planning to replace the aging Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC) with a new, roughly $400 million, 12,500-seat arena. The proposed facility is expected to feature upgraded premium seating and will host basketball, gymnastics, and concerts.
Wow. I know that is needed. Are there any renderings out for it?

For the facilities gurus out there. I'm always interested in the things that each school is doing.
For Ole Miss:
- Playing surface replacement for Swayze field
- New golf facility
- Basketball locker room renovation
- New field at the football practice facility
- Vaught expansion upcoming, plans to be released soon
- Tad Smith Coliseum demolition :wah:
- Founders Suites & pressbox renovation

I'll do it by ranges because I think the schools will be in these groups:
1-2 - Texas or Georgia
3-5 - Alabama, Ole Miss, or Oklahoma (no particular order)
6-7 - LSU or A&M
8-11 - Florida, Tennessee, Mizzou, Auburn (no particular order)
12-16 - SC, Vandy, Kentucky, MSU, Arkansas (no particular order)
