1998, 4 years old I attended my first game against UGA I think. Got my picture in the paper at 7 in 2001 when Florida came to town and whooped our asses. I really got hooked around 2009 and I got a massive gamecock football dopamine hit (interspersed with incredible pain, thanks Marquez North. In fact I’m pretty sure more gamecock fans remember that guy than Vols fans.) over the next 4 years that I’ve been jonesing for ever since and I don’t think will happen under Beamer.

Me neither. Everyone is going on and on about how Arkansas fans deserve better- frick that noise, South Carolina fans deserve better and have deserved better for a long long time. That stadium yesterday was fricking packed, fans did their part. We should have canned Beamer after last year, no reason you keep a HC with the #11 preseason team that goes fricking 4-8. Shoulda got Bob Chesney.

He reminds me of Lanorris Sellers in the respect that he’s a homegrown product that takes a lot of pride playing for the hometown school he grew up rooting for. Doesn’t happen as often as it used to but that still means a lot to some players. UGA and Ohio State if I recall correctly both fielded large offers at sellers and he turned em down.

Got the jitters out against Towson (btw what an injury their punter took, kid broke his arm in two places. Absolutely brutal and I hope he recovers completely and as quickly as possible)
I have confidence in Beamer and particularly Briles to analyze the issues we observed in the passing game and to correct them in the coming week in preparation for MSU. It seemed more like some communication issues and generally just an off night. I am very excited to see how Dylan Stewart returning to the lineup turns out next week against Kamari Taylor. Should be a very good game and I hope the Gamecocks emerge victorious.

Went to USC for a semester, started doing HVAC work over a summer got kind of interested. Switched to the local tech school (Midlands Tech) and really got hooked on refrigeration stuff and kitchen equipment for restaurants, been doing that for 15 years now. Currently in charge of the repairs for all refrigeration/hot side equipment in any Moes Chilis or Sonic in GA/NC/SC and any restaurant using electrofreeze equipment. Keeps me busy, was listening to our game while fixing up the ice machines at sonic on hardscrabble rd here in Columbia.
