Although I do remember seeing JFK live in a parade prior to that. (see above)

And what I specifically remember was the color of his hair. Unlike the dark brown from all the pics it was more auburn colored. That Irish color brown with red highlights. Which was lot more reddish from being enhanced from the side angle of the sun. It was quite striking and still vivid in retrospect. It made him look even larger than life.

Consider this... (for arguments sake)... mere hypothetical scenario.

Without those two losses would Hugh have lost his job?*

So why doesn't he file suit for damages. He's likely to never get another chance at this level, so in essence his career is cut short or greatly diminished, and the SEC has given him a likely avenue by their acknowledgement of rampant ineptitude.

Both the referee's and SEC cost him untold millions and irrevocably damaged his reputation. Would we have terminated his contract (this year, mid season, or ever) with a winning record? No one knows for sure; however it was noted that Oklahoma's staff informed these officials of the their deception plan and then they played ostrich instead of doing their job. It was a travesty of their own making through neglect, ineptitude, and failure to perform in an equal and above board manner.

And ironically they compounded their short comings again last week... so even a pattern of damaging the University could likely be established. No I'm not an attorney just thinking out loud that it might be time to lawyer up. It worked for poor players so maybe it might work for a pushed out of his job coach. And what does Hugh have to lose except a couple days of golf.

It's a billion dollar industry (plus) and there is no professional referee's. No way to build, insure, and ascertain a better class of men than you'd find in a poker game, pool room, or your child's high school football game. No checks and balances other than their capricious whims.

Let that sink in... the NCAA alone accounted for $1,300,000,000.00 (1.3 billion) in revenue for the 2022-23 fiscal year according to AI. Yet they operate on the trust me principle.

And there's no mechanism to insure these miscreants have any more accountability than the lowest of immoral thug. And then we allow them to double down on the dumb by having no manner to reverse malfeasance. Once the clock is done it's pay me my bet. The audacity to not even allow a two hour window to file a protest. Not even if posting up a million dollar lose-able protest. Just a what's been done can't be undone. In NASCAR the winning car gets taken apart. In the track and field you piss in a cup or loose that gold medal. Same with boxing another betting sport. Same with cycling. You can redo championships decades later but not a bad decision made ten minutes ago.

And the controlling body simply has no mechanisms to address this situation other than allow them (to continue) to say trust me.

Maybe, perhaps, however this one

about twenty minutes away isn't too shabby.
