I've been to every SEC stadium except for the new comers (Texas and Oklahoma). I have always been treated great(even at an archival LSU). The worst event was a whiskey bottle thrown towards our section and 1 row in front on my wife and I at Georgia. It came from the student section. An Ole Miss fan that deflected it from hitting his wife stood up and called the guy out! The Georgia fans behind us began chanting, point him out, point him out. Someone did and security removed him.

I loved Mike Leach. What a great coach and person as far as I can tell. Never met the man but feel through all the interviews and tributes given I have a sense of who he was. Never seemed to take himself to seriously and was truly interested in the other person.
Growing up in Mississippi you had to choose a school to root for. Ole Miss or State. I have always rooted for State except for our games against one another and the Mullen years. I didn't really hate State but there was a hatred for Mullen that he created and remains till this day for me.
My condolences to the Leach family and all of the State family!

Ever since I heard this news I have been praying for Coach Leach and family. He is a treasure! I have always loved his interviews and somewhat think of him as just one of us everyday guys that love football and have our opinion on everything including weddings and fat little girlfriends! Prayers continuing!

If Auburn wants someone that will produce wins in football then they should hire Freeze. We all make mistakes in life. Freeze has made them and has acknowledged them as far as I can tell. The man can coach. Auburn can't afford to swing and miss on another coach. Hugh Freeze crosses the I's and dots the T's as much as any coach available. I believe he is the best fit and candidate for the job!

My condolences to the Dooley family. Certainly one of the great coaches of college football. They don't make them like Coach Dooley anymore!

What bothers me is you read from players, "I just want to play with my brother's". Then next thing you know they are opting out. I'm not saying that Moore or Yeboyah said that it's just the overall mentality of, Oh yeah I want to play and then Oh no I'm going to opt out. In my opinion you should have opted out before the season started. You're now in it with you "Brothers" how about finishing!
