How much are you emotionally investing in this season?

The last year I had season tix was ‘13 and I was all in. I breathed, ate, and slept Aggie football. I was so proud of the boys for fighting hard through the off the field drama and they dashed my hopes and dreams with two terrible losses to LSU and Mizzou, our boys didn’t fight like Aggies and most of us saw the writing on the wall, even though we didn’t want to confront it.
Thank god I didn’t renew, cause if I had I probably would have broke some shite in ‘14.
But even as a new day dawns in Aggieland, my BAS comes back like an old war wound and I’m not sure how deep in the water I want to go.

Cautiously optimistic. We are gonna get beat this weekend. I'd rather be pleasantly surprised than disappointed. Still going to the game. Still gonna have fun. Got tickets with my Mom and my Brother. Aggie football the way it should be. Family.
And Damnit if we win it will be the greatest thing ever. And I'll get to share it with my family.

Always more than I actually let on

My dad starts every year saying the Ags have a chance to win it all. I'm used to getting my little Aggy heart broke every dadgum year. It's tradition
I do really hope we win one while he's alive, though. That'd be the greatest sports moment of my entire life.

Not invested at all. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the next two years of football.
Year three, I'm all in.

None at all... but I’ll still curse, drink, and break a few coffee tables when we lose

I haven't been all in since our loss to MSU in 2014. I was kinda getting back there, then the 2016 MSU loss happened. I think I've said enough
I basically hate watched all of last year. it was weird

I was all in after the 2014 USC game. Ole Miss that year crushed my spirit and I haven’t been that excited since.
I’ll privabky feel that again if we beat Clemson or Bama this year

2017 was the least invested I’ve been in the team in a long time. But with the hire of Fisher I am 100% in. I’m practical and know this is unlikely to be the year we do anything special, but I’m cautiously optimistic anyway.

Checked out a couple years ago and not financially invested at all. But every Fall still brings the hope of a good season for the team and current students to enjoy.

I would say I’m like most that have already posted. Somewhere 2015 or 2016 broke me and haven’t been all in since.
2017 was probably one of the most difficult years to watch for me as I’ll never wish for us to lose a single game, but I also didn’t want Sumlin to somehow luck into 9 or 10 wins and earn another few years here. Such conflicting emotions....whoever earlier in this thread used the term “hate watched” is probably pretty close to how I felt.
I’m not back all in, yet. While I am super excited with the Jimbo hire, I realize even he isn’t a miracle worker and it’s going to take a few seasons to get the program up to his level and being a true contender. You won’t ever hear me say Sumlin left a bare cupboard, but we certainly do have holes and depth issues on this team, and likely can’t be fixed with just a single year of recruiting.
But if we get a big upset like this Saturday? All bets are off and it’s probably full hype train for me.

I’m like Westcoast, those MSU games were soul crushers. this season is just for fun, but if we beat Clemson......I’ll be opening back up “Sarge’s Koolaid Bar”

I'm 100% in. My eyes are focused on 2020. I expect us to win 7 games this year and I'm ok with that. Schedule is brutal this year and next, then gets a little more manageable just as Jimbo's recruits start to fill out the roster. Let's keep up the elite recruiting.
I just don't want to see all the posts about how Jimbo sucks after Clemson and Bama games. Talent matters, not just coaching.

I've been an Aggie fan all 51 years of my life, seen the highs seen the lows, I haven't been 100% all in invested in many years and probably won't be again but I'm always going to watch them and I'm always going to root for them because that's what I am I'm an Aggie. Well as much as someone who went to school in the A&M system can be.

I am more emotionally invested in the recruiting class, but I am still excited about the season.
Seems like most Aggies are the wait and see. Many season passes went unsold.

Yeah I let go of two of my six. It was getting too hard to get more than one kid on any given Saturday want to go with me . And with the additional seats after the expansion you were having to give away tickets that you couldn’t get anything for them.
I still think the stadium was built the right capacity for the constantly growing Fanbase. But if we are bad we should expect 95k instead of 104.
