They don't have an A&M board here?

Melt bitch
Sadly, it’ll be at least another year. Game means nothing to aggy. Texas fighting for its life! They’re at home, and Arch has been playing like a Heisman contender lately!

Texas University can’t lose!

18, actually. your pants are on fire!

1917, 1919, 1921, 1925, 1927, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1956, 1967, 1975, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1991, 1992, 1993, and 1998
Sarge: "Hey, Texas University, yall haven't beaten a top 5 opponent at home in 26 years."

dildo waver: "We're a blue blood, dammit! Stop being mean! We're like Alabama, basically."
Sure, they'd have three losses, but they really should have won against UGA in regulation, if they just hit that late FG. And the Bama and OU losses were both close games against CFP teams.

They destroyed Florida by three scores.

I'm sold. UT deserves to be in with a win.
That was awesome. I don’t know why I remembered that, but they’d probably fire a coach for a stunt like that now.

State, that’s one of my favorite college football stories of all time.

With all due respect, should A&M fans be commenting on coaching hires?

Jackie - splash hire, good hire
RC - not a splash hire, good hire
Fran - major splash hire, total failure
Sherman - not a splash hire, solid but ultimate failure
Sumlin - not a splash hire, solid but ultimate failure
Fisher - major splash hire, failure, consequential financial hardship
Elko - not a splash hire, homerun hire.
Riley, Jumbo, Kelly, Belichik.

There are misses on coaches of all backgrounds. Better to miss cheap than miss in BK or Jimbo.

He has twice been fired for what LSU is accusing Kelley of. That is ironic

It’s too late now for them to reverse course, but if they had any sense they’d crawfish on firing Kelly first cause. Such a bad, bad, bad look. What’s more, it’s wrong. It’s just wrong.

So true, OP.

Texas University can’t lose.
He’s never had elite results as a head coach. Why should he get paid like he’s won 3 nattys?

I get the reasons a school would be tempted. Obviously. But the smart move is to pass and get a hungry up and comer on a salary that reflects that status, and let him try to prove. You can try again in three years if you need to without hamstringing yourself financially. And you could still put elite money on your roster.

Aggy either 1/2.

That’s absurd.

You might not have heard this, because it’s mostly been ignored, but aggy has only played the worst teams in the SEC.

I’ll be there with my son and father in law on Friday, so at least three.
