If I had a next OU, I'd return it.

What the hell is wrong with LSU?
Arizona State can beat A&M if we frick around. They are less talented, yes, but they have a great program and have serious offensive talent.

The SEC literally filed in court that they wanted to kick LSU out and that there was LOIC regardless of if the players were rostered.

That's not at all what it said, you moron.
quote:

They can’t however ignore a state court order that contradicts SEC policy.

Well, I guess they can, since they did, and they forced LSU to do the same.

Has that corrupt LSU judge held LSU in contempt yet?

How did you establish your authority by backing down?

The SEC didn't back down. They said, "if you violate policy by playing those players, we'll kick you out." LSU backed down. SEC didn't kick LSU out.

Where is the back down?
LSU won BIG when they didn't get booted from the league!
LSU won again, baby! Didn't get kicked out of the SEC! Stacking up dubs!
quote:

anyone still honestly thinks LSU was the loser?

LSU fan day 1: Wade and Lane are bosses! SEC can't stop them from bringing in these players! TRO baby! I'd LOVE to see the SEC try and stop us, they'll said sued so fast it'll make your head spin!

LSU fan day 2: Well, we won't play them yet, but it's just a matter of time. That baby back bitch Sankey can't stop us!

LSU fan day 3: What? Kick us out? Well, they're not even on the roster! We ain't done nuffinwrong!

LSU fan day 4: roster spots filled! It's a mute point, bro!

LSU fan day 5: Ha! I knew those bitches wouldn't kick us out! Man, do thet look dumb now! This shire has been good for LSU, baby!
NCAA is no longer the effective governing authority for SEC member schools. The SEC is. It's SEC policy (not NCAA policy) that will matter going forward.

That's what this has all been about.
The spin that attempts to portray Sankey as the bitch and Lane as the alpha in this drama is maybe the most moronic thing I have ever seen in college football. It's astonishing what LSU fans can convince themselves of!

I'm with you. LSU should take legal action against all this doggone slanderous activity.

LSU needs to take legal action to repair its reputation after all this slanderous activity

:rotflmao:

This place!
Oh, well that settles it.

In other news, Saul Goodman issued a statement that he had never even heard of anyone named "Heisenberg", and he would soon be forced to take legal action against all the "slanderous activity."

SEC policy that defined that very term

and many other athletes at other schools meet that vague definition

That's just not true. It's not vague at all in the policy that LSU voted for, which will be something of a problem moving forward. It's why you see soccer players who were in soccer pro leagues, or basketball players who were in overseas pro league, precisely because those players DON'T meet the definition of professional athletes as defined the policy that LSU voted for.

The story of the first red white and clue out was very cool. First game back after 9/11 - 10 days after 9/11. In the days leading up to the game, there was a thread on TexAgs with the idea to get everyone on the top deck to dress in red, then white, then blue. It was TOTALLY grass roots. Student organizers got a bunch of shirts printed up fast to get to people for the game.

I'm still amazed that was pulled off.
The SEC would fight, but these lawsuits and threats of kicking people out and incredible dysfunction seems to have come in the door fairly recently.

Don’t ask Sankey

Sankey did not vote in favor of the policy. The President or Chancellor of each and every SEC member institution did.
The policy does that. You can google it.
