I have a Japan trip lined up for next May and while ive figured out my stuff inbetween, starting to try to really put together the two main focuses of the trip which will be 4 days in Kyoto (at the beginning of the trip) and 5 in Tokyo (at the end)
open to any recs from a dinner/tour/activity/kyoto hotels (im set for my hotels in Tokyo) perspective for someones first time in Japan

Looking like I'm going to have almost two weeks in Australia next year and looking at what exactly im going to do. My goal is to find a blend of the city stuff in Sydney and the Outback but idk if im spreading it too thin. Was hoping to get some thoughts on what I've started to put together
Land in Sydney early in the morning and do that day and the next
Fly out to Ayers Rock and do the Uluru stuff plus Kings Canton over three days
Go to Alice Springs for 2 days for a slow day and then West MacDonnell Ranges
Two nights in Blackheath for the Blue Mountain stuff
Then finish with another 3 nights in Sydney
Thoughts?
