Just needed to convert one TD on Miami and then if we’re in Miami’s position, one play away from beating Indiana and winning the natty. Pretty impressive for the Ags!

Super impressed with their fanbase during these playoffs. Lots of alumni, loud fans at the games, lots of towels waving. Seem like a great group.

I think the bitching is loud enough from fans, coaches, and some media personalities that it will eventually cause change. All they have to do is implement some kind of transfer restrictions (e.g. you get one move and that’s it) and it fixes a whole lot.
My big concern is that they’ll just keep expanding the playoffs, which will also completely ruin the sport. They’ll go “the cutoff was hard to judge this year so we should expand” ad infinitum until we have a 68 team playoff that lasts until March.

Damn shame that Texas got held out of the playoffs solely because they played Ohio State and not a cupcake.
The real question is - if they were still in the Big 12, would they still have had the political clout to influence their way in? They controlled the Big 12 and even if they had the same record (obviously OSU would have been their only loss), surely they would have had the entire conference machine pushing them in.
We’ll never know - but Texas has to be questioning why they came to the SEC now.
