From the end of Jan:

6-4 means 11 SEC wins. I'll take that all day this year.

Beat Lsu and we're there. It'll likely be a top 3-4 seed too.
Baseball Savant (statcast) gives expected stats based on exit velo and launch angle for big leaguers. I'd love to see that kind of data for college.
Jace hit 2 balls about 400' for outs last night. That's how our season goes.
Sure. Ole Miss wasn’t either. They were preseason top 5.

My point is nothing is decided yet no matter how much this sucks.
I can't understate just how terrible we look. So so so bad. But its too early to write them off. The SP is there. The offense has the talent. A switch can flip at any moment.

On May 1st of 2022, Ole Miss was 28-17 (7-14). They won their next 7 games (2 conference sweeps), snuck into the tournament, and proceeded to go 10-1 in regionals, supers, and the CWS.
That min 40 saved Michael Braswell

100. Hayden Schott (Texas A&M) (+34)

This is the story of 2025 A&M

2024: .335 / .418 / .498 / .916 108 wRC+
2025: .175/ .267 / .325 / .592 34 wRC+

Its across the board. I think Kent is the only player who's improved at the plate.

They don't look like ballplayers. Its kind of like the Dodgers v Yankees in the WS. The Yankees didn't do the simple stuff like cover 1st, make routine plays, prevent the extra base, etc.
It is one of the greatest meltdowns I have ever seen. In my wildest nightmare this offense wasn't this bad. Completely unexplainable.

I was at the DH last Sunday. Beautiful day. Lots of fun seeing A&M-Tech battle it out. I am turning into a softball fan.

I know, but we don't always work around the competition like Aggie does

You gotta pick a lane. Does A&M schedule too well or not well enough?

I assume you didn't follow baseball last year.

tu's midweek losses:
A&M
A&M Corpus
Texas St
UT Rio Grande Valley

Tarleton St and Sam are both on the schedule.

Why do you guys schedule the lesser Texas teams that could actually beat you? Texas State? Now UTSA?

Are you actually asking why baseball teams schedule regional opponents midweek? Are you new to college baseball?

I on the other hand feel NCBWA is very smart. Best ranking ever. We should only pay attention to them. Ignore the rest.

The rain is supposed to stop this morning so baseball on Aggieland should be a go. Crazy wind gust though so we might have a very high or very low scoring game based on the direction

Yall are excited this morning.
Rice is likely a bottom 5 team in baseball.
