Sorrell is in the groove. His swing is a thing of beauty.
That’s all true. In spite of it all, we still have a lot to play for.
Agreed.
Sorrell put on a show today. I’ve been watching Ag baseball for a long time. Not sure if we’ve ever had a more complete ballplayer than him. He is flat amazing in every phase of the game.
We have stranded so many runners in the first 2 games. Maybe 20? Really need Sorrell to get going.
Tough game last night. Great to see Royo have some luck at the plate. Otherwise we couldn‘t string anything together offensively. sip pitchers looked really good. Gotta do better today. Hoping Jace can do something.
Looking forward to the weekend!
Bats cover a multitude of sins…
He’s out. Shoulder surgery this coming Monday. Or at least so says the great Kirk Bohls.
Had a little scare with Jace on that slide. Seems to be ok. Hopefully no biggie. Just hope he didn’t break a finger.
Things are getting interesting.
If we can win 1 tomorrow, it’s a new world.
That ball went quite a long way. Sorrell is special.
Of course. I just need to see more before even thinking about getting my hopes up. :-)
Having Sorrell back is a big deal for us at the plate at least.
Let’s see what happens this weekend.
The ending of tonight’s game. Good lord.
Easier said than done. Being that close to winning it all. Really really really close. Getting stabbed in the back as it was happening. Realizing the nucleus that could come back. I understand the decision that was made at the time. I understand the blowback if the roster had fallen apart if the decision had not been made.
Losses of key players. Injuries. Contentment. Overconfidence.
And the fact that Baseball is a cruel bitch.
