re: True Detective S3E7 | The Final Country - Roger Klarvin
I don't see anyway he already had solved all of everything in 90 and simply forgot.
It seems pretty obvious Hoyt tells Hayes the truth after insuring his silence by threatening his family. Hayes learns what happened but walks away to protect his wife and kids. The “twist” will be...

re: True Detective S3E7 | The Final Country - Roger Klarvin
This ending is setting up better, but episodes 1-6 of season 1 was arguably the greatest run of episodes in television history....
Try reading the list of cases at the end of the movie and looking into a few of them.
It’s irrelevant The acting is shit, the straw man premise is shit, the cheap character development is shite and the dialogue is incredibly awkward....

re: United Methodist Church special session this week - Roger Klarvin
It blows my mind that affluent, middle age men agree to sit in a room and discuss the theological implications of what other people do with their genitals...and consider such activity completely normal. “Oh honey, what did you do at work today?” “Me and the other elders sat around talking abou...

re: Conservative friendly movies/television programs - Roger Klarvin
God's Not Dead
One of the worst “successful” movies ever made. It’s mindless pandering the lowest common denominator, knuckle dragging segment of the far religious right. There are are a lot of conservative/Christian themed movies that are WAY better....

re: can a top flight boys high school basketball team beat most any womans college team? - Roger Klarvin
Absolutely An elite AAU HS boys squad would CRUSH a WNBA all star team. I’d go so far as to say that, if the boys pressed the whole game, the WNBA team would struggle to get the ball past halfcourt consistently. Score would be something like 120-20....

re: True Detective S3E6 - Hunters in the Dark - Roger Klarvin
It was all a misdirection. They left him like that with the dolls to make it look sadistic/ritualistic. It’s unlikely they meant to kill him going into it, but once they did they used it to throw off the authorities....

re: True Detective S3E6 - Hunters in the Dark - Roger Klarvin
The heavy implication in the 2015 timeline has been that Tom died in 1990, so I assume he meets his end over this. It’s also the only thing he could do that would drive Roland and Wayne to actually kill him (given Roland and Tom’s friendship)....

re: True Detective S3E6 - Hunters in the Dark - Roger Klarvin
People are going to be REALLY disappointed when it isn’t done huge pedophile ring connected to season 1. The Hoyt family paid Julie’s mom to give her to them to replace the dead granddaughter, and then killed her in 1988 fir wanting more to stay quiet. The one eyed black guy in this episode was t...

Luka Doncic having an all-time clutch season - Roger Klarvin
He is now 12-17 (71%) on shots to tie or take the lead in the final 2 minutes of the 4th or OT, and overall is shooting 62% in the last 5 minutes of games. The NBA record for the former stat with a minimum of 15 such shots is 69% (Tim Duncan, 20-29 in 2003) and the record for the latter is 69% (W...
