That we’ve been hot dogshit on offense

Feast or famine. OL has issues. Owens needs to see more of his touches given to Morrow/Edwards, too. I'm less worried about Reed than most, though.

Maybe we can just stop reelecting the same shitty leaders instead of disenfranchising people because we’re unhappy with our shitty leaders.

Nah that makes too much sense.

AI itself isn't going to kill anyone. AI in the hands of bad actors can though.

Bingo. It's a tool.

1. When the OL gets a hat on a hat, the LOS was moving forward and things were clean for Marcel. I don't think we have a personnel issue, I think we have communication and ID issues.

Precisely.

It sure is nice having a reliable kicker, but you could feel how much Elko is going to lean on that. The aggressiveness was dialed back in the RZ

If our defense really is as nasty as advertised, I'm perfectly fine having games where we kick 3-4 field goals. Elko likes to be aggressive, but no need to force it.
Aggies should roll.

So of course that means we're gonna be in a one-score rock fight midway through the 4th quarter

Alter-ception?

Howdy, sir!

OP came out of retirement just to hype up his Spurs. He probably felt obligated to tip his cap before hibernating again

Essentially  I'll pop up here and there when the Spurs or A&M does something of note (which explains my extended absences :rotflmao: ).

Knicks deserved a hat tip regardless, though. Only the second team to ever beat SA in a Finals. First that wasn't favored to do so. They played tremendously.

Hey, where you been? Good to see you back.

Good to see you! I'm mostly on Twitter these days but I'll peek back in here occasionally.

I was happy because Jose got a ring.

Same! He's awesome as a player and a personality. Have liked him since his Pels days.

The good old days!

You mean not passing the ball into the post to their best player?

Waaaay more to it than that

Can we get your thoughts of Wemby’s continuous dirty play through the postseason? Curious what a Spurs fan thinks. I’ve heard mixed things from my Spurs friends here in San Antonio

Do you think it’s immaturity? Is it who he is?

It's people not understanding the full context of the situations most of the time. Wemby gets fouled hard every play and it's rarely called. His elbow was meant for McDaniels (who clocked him in the face without a foul call immediately prior). On the rare times he does retaliate, he's demonized. It is what it is, though. We had an actual dirty player on our team back in the day (Bruce Bowen). Wemby isn't even in the same stratosphere. He also doesn't turn the other cheek like the old Spurs used to. None of the young Spurs do--they like it when teams are physical with them and dish it right back. But Wemby is in no way a dirty player. It's kinda silly the narrative even reached this point (anyone who watched the Minnesota series in full knows better). At the same time, if he becomes a villain (was ginna happen sooner or later if he won enough), I'm perfectly comfortable with that, too. Might get rid of some of the gullible bandwagoners, honestly

Spurs were better, just found a way to choke over and over.

The best teams know how to win. Choking shows they weren't worthy of a championship. Was an issue for them all playoffs. Knicks finally made us pay.

Couple of former Pels get some hardware, too.

Hart and Alvarado! Loved those guys even on the Pels. And Mike Brown is an old Spurs assistant coach. And Sochan got him a ring before Wemby

The better team won the NBA Finals

Nothing but respect for nYk! They had an answer for everything SA tried, and punished the Spurs for every mistake. Spurs and Wemby should be back! Always GSG. Had fun interacting with some of y'all again on tMSB

that play is going to haunt fox forever. no reason to not just dribble it out there

I'm legitimately angry at Fox.
Completely and utterly unacceptable from the Spurs. Hell, from ANY basketball team. Much less one that thinks they deserve to call themselves, "champions." Blowing a 29 point lead is thoroughly inexcusable in ANY game. Much less the NBA Finals with everything on the line. Not championship behavior. At all. Shameful.
Still too many threes for my liking. Good look from Dylan though I'm not mad at it.

Spurs stopped playing their game and just chunking up 3’s.

They need to make sure to get good shots and stop throwing up 3’s. Wemby with back to back 3’s was stupid on the same possession.

This. Play in the paint on offense down the stretch. That + defense will win the game for SA.
