The only thing vinegar should be used for food related is if you are putting in a bowl with sliced cucumbers and onions and a bit of sugar for a summertime side.

Has anyone ever tried BBQ mutton? I'm passing by a town in Kentucky next week where it has been popular for many years. I'm thinking about giving it a try

I live in Owensboro, Ky it's in western ky. If you're going thru this way stop at Old Hickory or Old South BBQ for the best pork or mutton, the chicken is great too. We're 1.5 hr North of Nashvegas. Also the Bluegrass hall of fame and museum is located here.

Mustard-based BBQ is popular in the Midlands because a lot of Germans settled in that area.

So wtf was that British Isles comment about? (Unless you know it's mostly German or Dutch or something?)

I've done ancestry DNA too but it's total bullshite:

64% England, Wales, and Northwestern Europe
25% Ireland and Scotland
11% Sweden (WTF?)

I have actual Germans in my tree born in Germany in the 1820s.. I think they are putting my German in Sweden. Though a lot of British Isles background people get Sweden to some minor extent like 1-5%. I've also done 23andMe and it's way more accurate. That says I'm 3.6% Scandinavian which I could believe. 11% is ludicrous. 23andMe says I'm 18.4% French & German and crowd sourcing has it specifying North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany. Which is damn close to where I found people in my tree born from.

Technically my German could be in that first category too.. but Ancestry DNA is garbage. The rest of my immediate family all has German in their results after the August 2019 update and I lost my German.

I don't eat that shite. But it's not BBQ sauce, nobody puts it on pork or beef. It's for chicken.

Why? Because I'm into genealogy and ancestry? Also I dgaf about the south or the confederacy btw. I felt this needed to be said being I'm from South Carolina. My mom is from Ohio and thankfully I do not have a southern accent. frick that shite. But regarding ancestry, I just think it's interesting. I've plugged my results into GEDmatch and have seen some pretty cool stuff. Occasionally post at the Anthrogenica forums. Sorry that's weird to you. Go back to fricking your sister.
