This argument will never end. This topic comes up every month and a half or so.

Stupid take. I'm 6'0, 160lbs. I'm almost back at my high school weight at 32 years old. But I don't think I want to be 145 lbs.

Why? Because I'm into genealogy and ancestry? Also I dgaf about the south or the confederacy btw. I felt this needed to be said being I'm from South Carolina. My mom is from Ohio and thankfully I do not have a southern accent. frick that shite. But regarding ancestry, I just think it's interesting. I've plugged my results into GEDmatch and have seen some pretty cool stuff. Occasionally post at the Anthrogenica forums. Sorry that's weird to you. Go back to fricking your sister.

No, it's weird that people actually brought that shite up in an argument.

I wanted to know what IBG meant about "Sorry about that" regarding the previous comment about British Isles, French Huguenots, and African Americans. I didn't really get it...

Then make sure the record shows that most Alabamians don't rely on Big Bob Gibson's white sauce.

It's for chicken only and honestly it is awful.

As long as the record shows South Carolina isn’t just mustard based

The only white sauce I'm aware of for meat is the one I've seen at Asian spots, and it looks gross. Grilled T in 5 Points is where I first saw this and I about everywhere.

I'm from SC and didn't even realize that vinegar based was from here too. Just always thought it was a NC thing... and it's the best.

I make a mean vinegar sauce. I put that shite on everything. It is good on salads.

If you're talking about the actual BBG sauce you buy from the store, you're right. It's way too thick, and there isn't enough vinegar in it.

If you're talking about it in general, then fight me. I'll be at a Whitt's.

I had a giant baked potato stuffed with bbq at this place called LawLers in Huntsville one time. I could have sworn it had the white sauce in it. I remember it being pretty good.

Lawler's is okay. I grew up near the original one across from the college in Athens, but I've only had it a handful of times. Whitt's or die. You Carolinians will be happy to know that the sauce they use for pork is pepper/vinegar.

306 is starting to creep across N. AL too. They are good guys, but they basically stole Moe's playbook and made it less corporate-y and a bit higher quality.

Agreed. My dad always kept a bottle in the fridge when I was a kid. It's not good.

It can be made properly and taste better than BBG, sure. I'm just not a big fan of a mayonnaise/vinegar based sauce.

My favorite use of white sauce? Dipping hushpuppies.
