4 starting NFL QB’s injured and we just finished week 2 of and 18 week long NFL season. Not great.
Of course, the Penix seems to have loosened up and is looking poised to start. Have to wonder how his nerves are feeling. Don’t want him coming prematurely.

Honestly the best pure football movie is Friday Night Lights. I like how raw it is about football and doesn’t seem to overly “disneyfy” the story.
Honestly, now that I think about it, it seems so rare that a sports movie is good without being overly sappy or a comedy with sports as a setting. I guess moneyball too? But even that gets a little too over the top with the “we are so unconventional, we tried something different and it WORKED”
