This is true and super level-headed. I don't think anyone outside of Alabama saw 8 losses in 2 years warranting an extension, though.

Not yet, but I don't think Bama will make the postseason this year. If that happens the seat will be getting warmer.

Outside of Bryant and Saban, EVERY Alabama coach is ALWAYS on the hotseat. That's a part of the job until you prove you're a championship coach.

Probably not, but upper management clearly believes in him, and contract extensions are just the nature of the beast these days when you want to keep someone.
