But they are not going to fire a coach who is averaging 10 wins per season like Deboer. Deboer is not Saban or Smart. But it is interesting to compare his win total over the first 2 seasons versus some other coach’s.

Deboer: 20 wins
Smart: 21 wins
Saban (LSU): 18 wins
Saban (AL): 19 wins
Kiffin (Ole Miss): 15 wins
Sarkisian (TX): 13 wins
Heupel: 18 wins
Venables: 16 wins

I remember when you used to talk shite daily about BK while he was averaging 10 wins a year.

That 31-0 beating that Francione and Alabama put on Nick Saban and LSU - in Tiger Stadium at night no less - was the worst defeat of Nick Saban’s career.

Sorry, Reek, but no.

Nick Saban losing to Brian Kelly while he had a returning Heisman winner at QB and the eventual #1 and #3 NFL picks was definitely the worst loss of his career.

Just ask SideTaint

Auburn has not had a season with less than 4 losses since 2013. That was 13 years and 4 coaches ago.

I remember when you used to post Brian Kelly’s winning percentage ten to twenty times per day.

...you're talking about SideTaint, right, Alabama's newest alter?

Begged to be a mod on a LSU website just to have his privileges taken awat because Nick Saban never beat Brian Kelly in Baton Rouge

No, I'm talking about you.

Happy people don't spend the amount of effort you do trying to make other people unhappy.

Misery loves company and miserable people will spend their lives dedicated to it.

You are a reminder for me to thank God my life isn't as shite as yours must be.

He had a minimum of 3 regular season loses every year.

I guess I should've just used your line about averaging 10 wins a year.

Its all about how you lost Gaslighter.

Yeah, because great head coaches have never lost games by big margins before........

Nick Saban lost to Nebraska 50-10 and 55-14. Nick Saban lost to Alabama 31-0 at home.

Is Kalen Deboer on the hot seat?

Talk of Kalen Deboer's performance thus far is almost exclusively from two fanbases, who in those two years:

• Are 26–24 themselves combined;
• have finished outside of the Top 25 both times;
• have two bowl appearances and one bowl win between them (out of four); and
• are 0–4 against Kalen DeBoer, having been outscored 56–117.

Both of these fanbases are also 8–29 (0.216) against Alabama over the past 18 years combined, and have fired 8 head coaches in that time, to whom they owed or still owe tens-of-millions of dollars.

What conclusions might you draw from this information?

Those fanbases know what underperformance looks like.

If making the conference championship game, winning a CFP road game and losing to the first team in history to go 16-0 puts a coach on the hot seat then every coach in this league should be on one.

Glad to see Tide fans embracing the mediocrity of back-to-back 4-loss seasons!

Now compare the state of the programs they took over. I am going to guess DeBoer is the only one who took over a top 4 team

By the way, thank you for reminding everyone that I was correct about Brian Kelly.

You on the other hand made a damn fool of yourself.

Here's a hint:

Neither team has ever beaten Kalen DeBoer, and only one of them has beaten Mike Elko.

Do you, by any chance, remember when we lost our QB (Julian Sayin), top defensive player (Caleb Downs), and about 25 other players when Saban retired?

Jalen Milroe was our starting QB, and he literally couldn't throw a slant.

You said BK was a shite coach, you make excuses for DeBoer.

BK's record two years in was 20-7, DeBoer's is 20-8.

I said both are good coaches, probably the best hire at the time.

I don't think DeBoer is bad, just interesting to see the same Bammers who trashed BK make excuse after excuse for Kalen when Kalen took over a much better situation.
