SEC presidents voted Monday to approve uniform NIL and revenue-sharing contracts across all 16 conference schools, according to multiple reports.
The new policy takes effect immediately and gives schools a standardized contract framework with customizable sections.
The SEC becomes the second power conference to adopt uniform NIL and revenue-sharing agreements, joining the Big Ten.
The new contracts' specific details have not been released.
The decision comes as schools continue adjusting to the revenue-sharing era that began in 2025 following the House v. NCAA settlement.
SEC presidents also postponed a vote on a controversial proposal that would require athletes transferring from one SEC school to another to sit out a full season.
The conference previously eliminated that restriction in 2021, allowing players to transfer between SEC programs without the additional one-year penalty.
The proposal has received criticism, including from LSU head coach Lane Kiffin, who recently said he "can't imagine a worse decision to make."
For now, the SEC's existing intraconference transfer rules remain unchanged, although the presidents could revisit the proposal later.
