Beautiful scenery???? College Station, TX??? Puhlease. Place is a strip mall full of chain stores and cafes with little to no character.

College Station is a depressing shithole and once I’m done sucking all of you gullible aggy dry of your hard earned money I’m moving to a real city where I can enjoy myself

It's because of your culture.
Pro tip: Hire 2%ers to run the entirety of your athletics and give them the autonomy to do so.

I was very disappointed by college station last weekend. I liked the campus and of course the athletic facilities, but the city was rundown looking.
Tuscaloosa may have its eyesore areas, but the central city around campus and downtown are very nice. That may be the case with CSB too, but I must have missed those areas.
I drove in on 190 from I-45. And straight into campus from Bryan.

I’m very aware of who the Branch Dravidians were.
But I found the actual comparison in this thread ridiculous and assumed the poster was attempting to make an legit point.
Of course he didn’t.
It’s the stuff that makes this board unfortunate.

Bryan is defintely the rougher and more run down, side of town. College Station has a lot more of the nicer areas and a lot more of the student centric areas.
I lived in Bryan for a year while I was at A&M because it was cheap. Had my place broken into and picked clean while I was home for Christmaw. Lost absolutely everything of any value at all. Figured I may as well stay after that since I didn't have anything worth stealing anymore anyway.
