"historically good/great teams don't play" all major OOC opponents at neutral sites to prop up their home winning records.

M-O-U-S-Eeeeee
Is that why your defense went "belt to arse" on the best offense in the SEC a couple of days ago?

Dad definitely not a Rhodes scholar.
No we aren't doing what Indiana is doing. They have their own model. They take a bunch of guys big-spending teams like yours would laugh at, and then they run through your face with them at a quarter of the cost you paid.

I don't think they're a flash in the pan. They have a model and a culture. Ignore that at your own peril.

But I can guarantee you Nagy & Co paid attention to what Indiana did and will incorporate some of that into their own model.

Our recruiting and portal rankings and head to head results say otherwise.

How did your crootin and portal classes compare to Indiana's?

Keep focusing on winning the off-season with spreadsheets.

If you don't make the playoffs again with this top transfer class and top recruiting class, what will UTerus do?

Their donors will apply for American Express black cards to pay their players and triple down because that's all any of the texas programs (UT, A&M, Tech) know how to do.
They have no vision, and no plan, beyond spending everyone into oblivion for 4 and 5 star 'croots. They were counting on that separating them from the rest of the college football world and dominating forever.

you are forgetting that your recent portal class ranked 17 and ours 3.

Class rankings don't matter anymore.

Talent evaluation and team/roster building does. See also, Indiana, who did what you can't do with your bajillions and Lambos.

What a dinosaur.
Nagy isn't going to be fired. He's a beast, and so is his team.

And no, Nagy and his staff have no hiring/firing powers over the coaching staff. The coaching staff answers to the AD, the President, and the Board of Regents, like they always have.

You're so far behind.

Serious question. Why would Texas melt over the extension of a coach they dominate on the field?

1. Because you know that's not going to last.
2. Because people nationally are beginning to see what he has truly built as the model people will copy, and it will replace your model, which is just "let's rev Lambo engines at recruits like cheesedicks and outspend everybody into oblivion!".

PS: There was more media coverage of our coach's extension coming out of Austin than there was out of Norman, and that's hilarious.
The "AD" doesn't really have a role in the football program anymore other than staff hiring and salary/contract negotiations that go with it.

See? You're stuck in the old world model.
In spite of your fantasies of our demise, Oklahoma isn't going to fail at all.

There is no power struggle between Venables and Nagy, and there never has been.

I know you're concerned about Oklahoma having built the model everyone will copy moving forward, but it's not our fault you losers can't think beyond simply throwing money at a problem.
Power struggle?

Is this the latest thing you turds invented in your own minds over on IT and declared it to be true again?
I thought he had the flu......

Didn't you hear they're "12-13 deep on the DL" and will finish the season with "9 first and second team All-Americanisms"?

Since when has nose candy not been prevalent among the Greek scenes on college campuses?
