College Station is great for college and also moving back to raise a family.

Not too big, not too small. Good schools for kids. No crime.

Correction: we don't allow people to tread upon war memorials. One of which includes some grassy areas.

I drove in on 190 from I-45. And straight into campus from Bryan.

You must be thinking of highway 30. Did you exit Huntsville and go West

We got in at 10:30 last Saturday morning. Checked into a shite hotel and took an Uber to the Dixie chicken. Got a bite to eat and drank at the backyard next door until we walked over to Kyle field.

Ate some awful bbq at 13-0 afterwards.

But watched the Florida-LSU game at O’Bannons. Like that place.

But I found the actual comparison in this thread ridiculous and assumed the poster was attempting to make an legit point.

He was.

All he said was the Aggy culture could be an issue for some recruits.

Just like SEC culture is having a thick skin and engaging in banter. The nonstop sexual references are way out of control but otherwise I enjoy good banter.

Look at Europe for example, where are all the bankrupt economies? The beautiful Mediterranean coast: Greece, Italy, Spain. Who has all the money? Frigid countries: Norway, Sweden, Germany.

Our players are surrounded by beautiful scenery and the greatest lifestyle available in the United States. Why would they have the motivation and fearlessness required to put their health and body on the line to win football games?

You've obviously never been to Germany... or Athens, GA for that matter.

We bought tickets in July for the game. But waited too long on the hotel reservations. Used some flight miles on a bad hotel in Bryan. But it was free with the miles. So it worked.

It’s pretty simple really. Texans are historically enormous pussies. The athletes you have tend to gravitate towards track/offense.

The campus buildings look like a time warp to Russia. Hideous fricking place.

And you all guzzle semen jars...

It all started in the peach orchard at Gettysburg.

It all started when a titan arose north of the Red River and built a program with dough boys returning from "over there".
