It is so cool that Vanderbilt is able to talk shite based on being pretty damn good themselves. I love it!

Now, that is funny and accurate.

Florida 58 – LSU 3 (1993) and the reason I still think Spurrier is satan.

I can get behind it.

The jury is still out on BK. He will need to do great things this season for me not to put him in the "ain't the one?" bucket.
BTW, I am not happy with his performance(s) so far.

re: The new portal king

Shouldn't need that much portal action if he built a program that evaluates and develops talent properly. The continuous augmentation of a roster every year through the portal is a recipe for mediocrity.
re: We thought NIL + portal were gong to make strong stronger, but is it creating more parity?

Possibly, but it damn sure is deteriorating the product on the field. A lack of team chemistry on most teams is apparent and expected with continuously transforming rosters.

Somewhat attractive, but you should expect some change on that dime.

Yes, they do and it is pretty impressive from a quality of watercraft perspective.

And the Texas schedule is still a joke.

I know we give Aggies a load of crap and most deserve it on this site, but all and all, I have always thought of the Aggies as stand up folks. They cheer on their team as hard as anyone, but they seem to acknowledge and respect their opponents in victory or defeat.
Thanks for posting this fine young man's response to the game on Saturday.

re: Would LSU have been better off if they had hired Mike Elko?

As fun as it is to bag on LSU after the loss, Kelly isn’t a terrible coach. It’s just funny to see tiger fans expecting Kelly to be something that he never was at ND. He’s a solid coach, with a high floor (8-9 wins is a “bad” season) but also a capped ceiling. Outside of one year that they cakewalked their way into the natty and got embarrassed, he’s usually not going to put it all together for a championship season. That’s what’s he’s shown himself to be his entire career so it’s puzzling to see why LSU thought he’d do something different here. SEC has a way higher level of competition that ND did as an independent.
First off, congratulations on the win. The second half was completely dominated by the Aggies.
Your above quote is spot on. He does not run a tidy house and the team is not ready to play entirely too often.

Thanks, I struggle to recognize all of the alters spouting horseshite around here these days.

Some second tier teams (like Ole Miss) have zero self awareness. It can be a nuisance sometimes, but hilarious all of the time.

Regardless of how you were before Elko, your talent level was much higher than Kelly received coming in. Therefore, not as much to fix.
Having said that, I am not at all a Kelly supporter due to LSU playing soft and overall looking ill prepared in most games. Especially in the first half.
