No it does not at all. I average an hour in the gym or on the bike 5 days a week and the battery is just fine. I never have to recharge it because of a workout.
That said, I have a newer Apple Watch 10 that has great battery life. But my SE before that did not have problems either.

A device that has to be charged daily is actually not a great option for people who want to track their sleep.
You take it off in the morning and put it on the charger when you shower and get ready and it’s fully charged by the time you’re ready to walk out the door. It’s not that hard.

Your inability to read and comprehend is astounding.
No one in this thread has said the Apple Watch is the best fitness tracker there is.
The position is that for 99% of people it is the best option.

The world must be full of them then.
And I didn’t say they were. I said this:

Reading and comprehension are not your strong suits.

You’re right. Apple Watches work better for people tall enough to ride a roller coaster. They may not work as well for you. And that’s OK.

Then I don't know what to tell you.
For 99% of people, Apple Watch is the best option for health tracking.
I have looked at most of the other options, and have always come back to the Apple Watch for its ease of use and its seamless integration with the iPhone and all of my health apps.

For most of my life I would have said, "no-you can do it yourself." And I always did.
But, a couple of years ago, after my kids were born, I got serious about my health. I can handle the food side. But accountability in my workouts and staying motivated to keep up my physical activity because of my high hour, high stress job was the difficult part. So I hired a PT.
It was the best health decision I ever made. He creates the workouts. He calls for accountability when I am in the gym, out of town with dumbbells I now travel with, and in cycling, which he got me in to. He knows I am a Type A, goals-oriented person, so he knows what buttons to push to get the most out of me.
It is expensive, no doubt. But I have probably saved money by drastically cutting back on drinking and not running with that crowd anymore and not eating out so much (not taking into account an expensive cycling habit ). And the price to be healthy and to live a better (and hopefully longer) life for my kids is invaluable. I am in the best shape of my life now. I told my wife that some guys get a divorce, girlfriends, and fast cars as a result of their midlife crisis. I got a gym habit and a fast bike. And she's fine with that.

You sound like my husband—he gave his ex the house, the accounts, and took on all the debt.
It wasn’t quite that bad. We didn’t own a home together. The debt was credit card debt. And we had separate bank accounts-of which mine had been emptied.
The state where we were divorced didn’t require reciprocal financial statements, but I sent one anyway. Her lawyer called me to say it wasn’t necessary. I told him I wanted her to know what she had done to me financially and what I was taking on when I left.

I let her keep it. Regardless of its actual worth, it was worth more to me to leave her with the reminder, and for me not to have to carry the reminder around until I could figure out what to do with it.

You can find Vortex Diamondback 10x42’s HD’s on sale for $120-$150 sometimes (regularly $250). I have two pair and it’s all I need around here. I keep one in the truck and one in the hunting backpack. The only knock I would give them is the depth of field can be a little thin. If you can find the Vipers for a good deal, that might be an option, too.
Leupold makes some good ones, also. I bought my father-in-law a set of the BX-2 10x42’s, but was shipped the 12x52’s instead. He loves them. It’s hard to get him off of the balcony at the beach sometimes because he’s looking at “fish in the water.”
