Cig is an odd one. I really dont think its the money for him. He has a pathological obsession with winning, and I think in his mind he needs to know it's him winning, and not the program. He picked Indiana for a reason, because if he can win there, he knows he is the reason for it, not the program that was in place before he got there. I think theres a very good chance he stays at Indiana where he can be satisfied knowing he built everything he has from scratch.

Ole Miss struck gold with LSU poaching Kiffin before the playoffs.
Kiffin is a great recruiter, and talent evaluator, but he has always blown the big games.
Removing Kiffin from Ole Miss's staff is the secret saice that's propelling Ole Miss to new heights.
Ole Miss knows this and was smart enough to take the opportunity to not let Kiffin anywhere near the program once the playoffs started. It has worked like a charm.

Biases aside Texas was one of the best teams in the country by the end of the season. Arch has come into his own nicely, and the defense is formidable.
If they had one less loss, they would have made a solid run in the playoffs.

Talking about the mess that is college sports recruiting/eligibility etc. Lack of rules, lack of clarity, lack of oversight, loss of identity of college sports.
