Lost to Texas at home in 2023. But yeah, only a couple home losses going back to 2015. So a lot of comfort from that standpoint. Will be an absolute tough game for sure though.
I really liked him as OC at Alabama in 2017. But he’s got a very limited timeline at the college level. He was also not very involved in recruiting while at Alabama.
Which is what we definitely need to do. DL, LB, and OL.

Ruffin is a good talent. But don’t think there was ever mutual interest.
Alabama has a pretty damn good DL class.

I’d wager pass protection and fumbling issues are likely why we haven’t seen him more. Coaches aren’t going to keep the better player on the bench just because.
He was at the game last night. He attended most of Alabama’s home games this year.
I didn’t eat my traditional Saturday breakfast or lunch. So my fault too.
Jedd Fisch can’t leave Seattle soon enough. I suspect he’s the next UCLA coach.
A long list of people with absolute clown takes on DeBoer. He’s never going to be Saban. But no one ever was. DeBoer, however, is one of the best coaches in the game.

Since this board is obsessed with common opponents. Seems there’s a game that can be compared.
Do you plan on scrapping your entire offensive scheme again? Milroe showing up to turn it over multiple times? Plenty of reasons it will be a difficult game to win for Alabama. But it won’t be because of what happened last year.
I’m starting to wonder what role having a read option style of play in 2023 and 2024 has played in this struggle to return to a traditional run style.
I am not sure the current fanbase could survive the 2008 and 2009 offense.

If you struggle to run the football you’ve got to find a way to manufacture yardage around it. We just don’t have RBs that are healthy enough or that fit this style. It’s as simple as that.

You’re kind of limited when the RBs are a mash unit or don’t fit the offense. And the OL is not particularly great at getting a push in the run game.
I disagree. They are coming off a 40 win season. Three straight NCAA tournament appearances. Great recruiting and use of portal. Great young coach in Rob Vaughn. The program is as healthy as it’s been since Jim Wells retired in 2009.
Probably the best health the big three sports have been in at the same time. Baseball is pretty set to make a big jump this season.

Hannah just came back in. Hopeful it’s not serious with Wrightsell

The OP is at CURRENT school only. DeBoer is 18-3 versus ranked opponents overall.
