enjoy your final year on the sideline Nick - looking forward to your unfeeling robotic analysis from the studio next season.

He's probably referring to the flippant tone of, "my bad." It comes across as a very insincere form of, "sorry." If you're really sorry, you'll try not to do it again. Save your words.

Friend,

Saban reminds me of the unforgiving servant in the parable Jesus teaches in the 18th chapter of St. Matthew. He needs to repent and learn humility.

Reporter:
Hey Coach Saban, you didn't recruit a QB who can complete 50% of his passes.

Saban: My bad.

I get what he is trying to say. On the surface it comes off as placating and trying to not take ownership of the mistake you made. But really comes down to the individual player / person. Some ppl say that and they are genuinely taking responsibility.

Saban wants Perfection but when it's not there and even with an admission by a player of error that's not good enough for him...

This is why he was driven from the NFL by grown men professionals who would not tolerate his BS attacks on them

Yeah. He has clearly done it all wrong

I would think it would be, "It's not my fault".

This is a get off my lawn comment. Would he rather the player make an excuse or accept responsibility by saying “my bad”?

The problem is the “my bad” for many isn’t to accept responsibility. It’s just so they don’t get yelled at and deflect.
