This “issue” is so weird to watch. It started as a political talking point; something to make hay over for politicians, to galvanize their base. Now a lot of dudes have decided to take advantage and become top-tier athletes, against women.

I go to high school track meets a lot and I see men and women, doing the same events, and there is not one event a woman beats a man in. Well, several years ago our school produced an Olympic pole vaulter and I’m pretty sure she kicked the crap out of the guys in that but that’s the 0.01%

Youre speaking as a knowledgeable fan. The majority of people buying tickets are very sports-ignorant and will buy tickets after hearing they drafted him. A lot of “fans” won’t even know he went in the fifth round and isn’t very good. They just know “Deion Sanders’ kid”.

Wtf. An ump should not be allowed to tell a coach he’s screwing up.

I’m fine with it. I’d want an Arkansas batter to do the same thing. But it’s also baseball so I’d want my pitcher to nail his arse next time around, too.

IMO teams drafting a QB in round one are the teams that suck and the QB doesn’t have a chance anyway. They don’t spend the money to get a decent OL or receivers
