re: Anyone taking Repatha?

Why would *high cholesterol* be a surviving genetic predisposition after so many thousands of years? Perhaps we are finally living long enough, on average, for its negative consequences to surface?
grandfather on my mothers side was one of nine kids. Farmboys. 5 of them died by age 50 of heart disease/attack.

I just got on Repatha. Genetically high cholesterol (I walk/ruck/run 25 miles a week and hit the gym 2 or 3 times) and over time I had become intolerant to statins. Crazy muscle soreness that I chalked up to just getting older - so bad that it was causing back problems. Repatha lowered my cholesterol to my lowest LDL in 5 years after only 3 doses. No side effects and no more muscle soreness.
Gender reveal parties are stupid but at the same time pigeons are filthy disease ridden rats with wings. I’m conflicted.

I always enjoy one off episodes like this. I guess it’s not for everyone but the writers taking a short detour and being creative is kinda fun.

Let the downvotes rain but I loved the Nikki and Paolo episode of Lost. I always like when writers mess with time so that the episode isn’t linear (e.g. the backwards Seinfeld episode) - and the payoff at the end was superb. I mean they buried 2 people alive.
The one where they were building a house of cards as a contest for …. Something…. I forget. The dog knocked it over and the girls lost I think.
Dude. You don’t go in the ladies room. He fricked up.
Ruthless people. A reason we called them savages - not because they were simple and primitive but because they would kill you in unspeakable ways. Drag a newborn baby behind a horse and then put it back into a weeping mother’s arms - and then when it still moved strangle it to death.

Agreed - I really liked this movie.

Obsession was another banger
I have only seen Silo - I liked it a lot especially season 1

Widows Bay is great if you haven’t seen that. Also Monarch is very good.
Wayne’s World

Quoted it endlessly with my friends back in the day. Tried to watch it again a few years ago and it was horrible
A bunch of lines from Unforgiven.

We all got it coming kid.

And

It’s a hell of a thing killing a man - you take all he’s got and all he’s ever gonna have.
Ngl if I could live like that I’d take over the dance floor at a wedding reception. Impressive.
Leg braces or mouth braces? This makes a difference.

It will never be ready in time
Dave Franco is hilarious - way funnier than James. Plus he’s married to Alison Brie.
A guy in my high school would put all of his shirts in a duffle bag, go to Dillards and douse them in the Eternity free sample spray bottle.
