Room upgrades are laughable at this point. I'm Lifetime Titanium with marriott and rarely if ever are their upgrades available.
I get upgraded quite frequently. And I thought Platinum is the highest lifetime status you can get. What do you need to achieve Lifetime Titanium?
More often than not, I get upgraded on stays of 2 nights or less. Which I stay often for work or short weekend trips. When I start to reserve 5 nights on points, it a much less hit rate. Unless I request suite nights.
She certainly does not look 54 in those pics.
Grits. You landed on grits. Of all the things Louisiana is horrible at and by default, neighboring states are better, grits is the key for you?

The reality that you are an a-hole?

Imagine being so foolish that you don’t understand how pivotal this is to our way of life. What are you going to do if a democrat breaks into your home? How will you protect your family? Will you ask them nicely to leave? Do you not hunt? Do you not conceal carry?
Being grateful for something or believing that is the one thing that separates USA from rest of the world are two different things. Doesn’t Guatemala and Mexico offer gun ownership as a right? Much more than gun ownership separates those countries.

I learned Baton Rouge sucks. Stayed there after graduation and didn’t realize how shitty it was until moving. It slowly eats at your soul. Life immediately improved after leaving.

Straight through Houston. I’m shocked he only said 1.5 hours.
Still half the time it takes to get home from an LSU game living a few miles from the stadium

Sounds like the same story for the rest of Houston.
Both are better than MLB starting a fricking runner on 2nd base. I don’t even know what NFL is these days. Can’t remember is if an All-pro BQ got screwed last season and so the changed the rules again.
re: How much faith do you have in customer reviews?

I look for reviews that matter to me. If I’m researching a product that I only need for a one time use, I don’t care if 100% negative reviews criticize the durability.
New Orleans expressed early interest in hosting World Cup games. Here's why it didn't get far

This was the first phase of the bid process back in 2017,” said Jay Cicero, the president/CEO of the GNOSF, “where it was really just a questionnaire about the size of your soccer community, the size of your corporate community, the support for soccer in your area. The population numbers.
“… We were hoping to get to the next phase where you’d actually receive the bid specs … (but) if you look at the host cities in the United States and Canada, they all have (Major League Soccer) franchises there. So they built this soccer community there and a level of professional soccer and soccer support over the years, and logically that’s why they were chosen to host these events.”

American Home Shield is one of the worst companies I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. And I never let a moment go when I can talk shite about them.
re: Why couldn’t NOLA be a WC host site?
Posted by kciDAtaE on 6/29/26 at 2:11 pm to JerryTheKingBawler
NOLA didn’t get past the phase where specs were even issued. The size of city and size of soccer community (or lack there of) shut it down.
There is no soccer community in NOLA compared to others. All US sites have an MLS team.
It’s also the temperature of the water. Alcatraz was one of the few federal prison at the time that offered inmates hot water for showers so that their body didn’t accumulate to the cold
