The fact that Johnson has ties on west coast is huge. Few Cali prospects want to play for 500 a night at USC/UCLA.

He stinks? I thought a while back he keeps throwing him for future transfer portal players. To show he stuck with him. It's via marketing. Has to be. No LSU pitcher in history has given up nearly a run per inning so consistently. They'd be benched....
