These things will decide itself out too. Darby may be at the peak. So he is already competing. But they see Barber with ton of potential above the immediate contribution. So the coaches may have went with the higher ceiling albeit longer development. And it’s also up to Barber to fulfill that potential.

Shough def isnt better than Purdy or Goff right now.
I would probably say Dak is better at this moment because could see argument there.
Possibly a push with Caleb Williams.

Y’all are dumb across the board. That was game 3 of a rebuild. Yes they spent a lot of money to kickstart it. But the reality is it was absolutely needed to even be competitive because the roster was not there to be competitive that Kiffin walked in to. Anyone and everyone knew that. It lays a super strong foundation to start. Kiffin didn’t walk in to LSU to win one championship in year one to ride of in to the sunset. Kiffin walked in to LSU to build a foundation, then a program to win multiple championships.

Regardless, good game Ole Miss.
