Lifetime since early 2011-

These days are worse than the Civil War by a factor of at least 5.
Hyperbole much brah?

You got the two events reversed, if anything.
Look what they did to my Eagle Scout.

Congrats.
Truthfully as long as it’s consensual then about a didactic tie.

In no particular order….

You got played and cucked, they absolutely can fix it. My brother unknown to him went months without health insurance once. He had renewed at open enrollment then went to use his insurance several months into the new year and come to find out he was uninsured. Company was withdrawing his premiums but had never finished the process. They fixed it, so when they say there is nothing they can do it is complete bullshite.
This is true.

Additionally, the company should have stepped up and paid the amount their carrier should have paid. (At least, if not more for your inconvenience)

In the same situation, I just paid the entire amount (covered and deductible) for the employee for our insurance carrier’s failure to appropriately get the coverage in-place.

I dinged out insurance agency for the amount on our next premium payment. They ate it.

If that’s the WalMart located at the SE corner of the I-10/US 49 intersection, anything crappy was and is possible.

That store is a shithole.

The Facts of Life

I was lucky - I was born in '38, the year that the economic outlook began to improve.
One of my former partners is also a ‘38 model.

“Determined” should have been his middle name.

OP: The Civil War easily had the most total tragedy for American families. The moral crusade of freeing slaves was paid for by the families the North and extracted from the Southern white population attempting to keep the status quo.

The border States folks got fricked too. The settlement where one of my ancestor’s family farm is located changed “hands” over 40 times during the Civil War. Each time was a new challenge to try to keep property and to remain safe.

You don’t until you do. My wife saved her company 500k a year in her first year.
She did that for free? And by herself? Her salary and benefits should be deducted from that amount to get the true net savings. And HR institutionally always continues to grow and creep and attempt to control and choke every facet of a company’s world.

The writers of “The Office” got HR Departments conceptually correct-
