Look, in the real world there are non-compete agreements in place to keep people from taking the benefits (time, resources(training) and money) bestowed upon them by one entity and using it/them against that entity...what's the difference here? Nobody's stopping them from using their acquired talents, just don't use them against your benefactor.
Bottomline: Don't bite the hand that fed you!

Graduate transfers ought to be able to go wherever they want.
Medical family issues ought to be able to go wherever they want.
Academic or discipline issues can go to juco and resurface at other schools.

What the frick does that even mean?
It means coaches like your God will run off or let players go that he doesn't want but won't if he wants them.

Whenever a player puts in the time and effort to graduate, they should be able to go wherever they please if they still have eligibility left.

Folks (fans) in general feel like graduate transfers should be allowed to go wherever they want to go and play immediately.

Will this topic be brought to the table in the SEC meetings in Destin next week? Is it up for a vote to change the existing SEC transfer rule?

Surely some of the Presidents & AD's have built a case they intend to present at the meetings in order to bring an SEC rule change, right?

Graduate students should be allowed to go where they want. They graduated.

That being said,I can understand why a school would not want them to go to an in-conference school, especially if a school thinks a former coach has been making contact.

Hell if I know, but when have the rules ever been designed to benefit the player?

This particular doesn’t harm the player.

If he wants to go to a school and another school doesn't allow him too, then it does harm the player. I don't give a shite what schools are involved. Let the player determine where they want to go if they've graduated.

If enough SEC programs want the rule changed to allow unimpeded transfer within the conference, then they should VOTE on a rule change next week.

I don't think the programs give a shite. That's the point. The PLAYER should be able to do what the player wants to do.

The SEC needs to make up its damn mind. Either ban in conference transfers, with no waiver, all together or dont.
