This poor guy had a real problem. Being reported he bet as much as 5 mil over a period of time. He was going to Reds games and betting on each pitch. That’s a real problem. Texas Tech is being investigated as well. These athletes have a tracking app on their phone that alerts for sports betting so if TT knew they’ll get hammered.

Great coach but disagree. Even Saban had gotten away from the physicality that made Bama great. It looks like DeBoer is attempting to bring that back to a degree but Bama will never be what they were from a physicality standpoint like the Saban teams from 2008-2017. It seems when we went to QBs like Tua, Bama became more QB dependent instead of being team dependent.
Probably not as much as others. LSU baseball is what Bama has been to CFB. You go there because they churn out MLB players every year and you are all but guaranteed to win a NC if you stick around for four years. This is just a bad team. Talent there but they don’t play like a team at all.
I am not piling on but since I live in this state and in the greater Baton Rouge area it’s not good here at all. Used to be the murders stayed north of campus now it’s in south east Baton Rouge and you are not even safe at the mall of Louisiana. It is seriously getting bad here.
Ohio state, Texas. Georgia and most importantly not following the GOAT to do it. For the better part of 20 yrs Alabama fans watched their team compete for or win a national title. When you set the playoff bracket at the beginning of the season it was who is going to be in with Alabama.

He left Washington to go to the one school that has a better chance of winnning a championship than anyone. How the hell did he not take the easier path?

No way you typed that with a straight face and meant it.

DeBoer #1 on our list even before Saban called it quits, we offered and he jumped at the chance”

No one said that. He was first option because Kirby is not leaving Georgia, Sarkesian was not leaving Texas and we couldn’t survive the bidding war and Kiffin was never an option even though a large portion of the fan base wanted him. Several radio host in Alabama told the fans he was not an option with certain behaviors that rubbed boosters the wrong way when he was OC. Anytime your HC leaves or is fired there’s a coaching search. Don’t be a dolt.
Tennessee, Ole Miss and he was fired at Bama. Screwing coeds, boosters wives, his time at Raiders. His history is littered with bad behavior, not necessarily illegal just immature behavior.
Lane will never be the coach at Alabama. Too many boosters will have to die before that happens.
I’m just saying the best coach in CFB has not won a game in the playoffs n two years with first game exits. If it’s happening to him in the current landscape then why would it be any different for any other program or coach. Now that we’ve gone to a 9 game sec schedule it’s going to get worse and let’s face it TCU making the playoffs is an oversimplification of what’s happening now. They didn’t make it from the big ten or sec.
No one ever said Kiffin was not a good coach. It’s the other crap that is the concern and when it bleeds over into his performance. He has never gone anywhere that’s didn’t end in controversy of some kind. That’s the legacy he has built. Maybe he’s figured it out but he’s going to have to prove it.
It is in today’s CFB. If you have visions of grandeur of seeing OsU even come close to what Alabama was from 2008 to 2020 prepare to be disappointed. The best coach in CFB Kirby Smart has not won a playoff game since we went to a 12 team playoff.

Then they are really dumb for not calling his bluff right then and there.

Way to go through their second coaching search in two years? We’d like to stay off the coaching carousel we’ve watched Auburn and LSU go through the last few years. Deboer is a great coach. He’s not Saban but no one else is right now either nor will there be as long as this is the system in place. Making the playoffs is the mark of a good coach and program.

This kid needs to stfu. He's always putting his foot in his mouth and slighting the teams who beat him, whether intentional or not

There was no slight he gave them the best compliment you can give a team. It was reminiscent of the old Alabama teams, you now the ones when you knew what they were going to do but you could t stop it anyway. That is essentially what Ty said. It was the greatest compliment you can give a team.
I know this will come off as a dig but seeing LSU under .500 in the sec is bizarre.
I think the whole thing is silly but I will say I find it off putting for a grown man and a coach nonetheless to get into a Twitter war with players and fans. Short of defending your integrity as a coach or as a man or defending your program, coaches should keep their mouth shut and focus on their players. It’s just a bad look on his part.
Baseball coaches know what they’re looking for. Baseball is a streaky quirky game. They know what LeBron is capable of and he will go early. My son was playing at Souther Miss and Ole Miss was there to take a look at another kid on his team. Our kid promptly crapped his pants and finger painted with it so they ignored him. Another kid on the other team went 0-3 with 2 Ks and missed several picks at first base. That’s the kid they pulled in to talk to. You don’t set your stock on a single season. These guys know what they’re looking for and what they want.
Anything other than Landon Dickerson or Ryan Kelly at Center is shite.
5 more sec wins gets them to a regional. If they can manage to win the remaining series they may still host a regional. I don’t think they can win the remaining series. I had hoped they would take 1-3 from Texas and Arkansas and 2-3 from
The rest but I don’t know now.

It’s baseball, by far

Yep and it’s not close. Baseball is the hardest sport not just to adjust to but play period. Hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do in all of sports.
Seeing Georgia and Alabama ranked ahead of the likes of LSU, MSST, Arkansas, Vanderbilt and TN in baseball is bizarre. You’d think this was a CFB poll. I’m enjoying the hell out of this season but can’t help but hope the wheels don’t fall off.
