I haven’t seen any rumors here that he has been fired.
I have not watched one game outside of the playoffs. The bowl games are dead and only good to show case some players who want to put on a show to get the highest pay day to where they transfer eventually and for coaches they get an extra few weeks to work with younger players and get them meaningful reps for the next season if they can actually hold on to them and they don’t transfer as well.

It’s not. I’m Just not willing to put this all on the QB which is what fans tend to do. The RBs are horrible, don’t hit holes, can’t see holes, can’t block and don’t run screens particularly well. This offense lacked continuity and efficiency for most of the season. You would see spurts of it for 2-3 drives every game which tended to be a bough because our defense bailed us out most games but when we played teams who operate at an elite level like Georgia at times at least and Indiana who operate that way all the time you get what we got in the SEC Cg and the Rose Bowl.

Whatever Nancy.
No it may even be worse. Alabama is hated for the success they had 15 of the last 20 years.
Correct Ty had his short comings but Alabama won many other titles with far less talented QBs and the main thing that those QBs had was an elite OL and elite RBs with an elite run game. This team needed Ty to be Tua or Bryce to make a deep run. Those guys don’t come around every year.

Ystar has. He’s been in a season long rant about it.

I immediately thought about who we fire.

I’m not being a jerk but the fact you are sitting in church and hearing a message and instead of applying the message internally you go to firing coaches means you missed his point. When you’re with God, be with God.
I am not in the things all Ty’s fault corner like some of our fans like ystar but I am not willing to lose Russell and Mack. It may be best for all parties to move on. Look Ty had a bad OL. We have the worst group of RBs in the last 20 years and the WR while a good solid group are not what Bama has been used to. We need OL badly, we need a good veteran RBand we need a new OL coach immediately

My point isn’t that Mac wasn’t good but those guys don’t even hold a candle to just those three players and it’s not close. He’ll Ty could have won a Heisman with that RB and those 2 WR. This wasn’t all in Ty. We have a serious deficiency in WRcralent, OL talent or coaching and RB talent.

Don’t take the hook. He is trolling.

He didn’t win it with Harris, Waddle and Smitty and that offense put up nasty numbers and were unstoppable
There is no way they are firing DeBoer. If they were they would time it with the current transfer portal window because if you do it after that’s two portal windows your program goes through with only another team with a coaching change going on to choose from.

Saban is correct. If you had a portal window in May with spring practice after you’d have every team finished playing, all coaching changes completed and coaches would have their roster completed and players in school practicing with the team.

Now I have no clue which is hard to project what portal guys are a fit

Here id the deal in my opinion it does not matter what your philosophy is as a coach. You have to get the personnel that can compete in the conference you play in. We end up recruiting pac 12 type players that’s what Alabama will be in a conference known for tough defense and smash mouth offenses that like to run the ball.

Don’t ever listen to this idiot. He’s a douche bag on and off the radio if what LsU fans said about him is true.
The OL depth is taking a hit if it is true that Carroll is entering as well.
A lot I hope. We need OL DL RB LB. We may need more than we have NIL for.
Another positive is everyone got see where the short comings of this team are and what to address so there’s no excuses for not addressing it going into next season.

Come on man our offense is streaky. No efficiency at all and we have ZeRO identity. I’m not saying fire DeBoer. At all I’ve already laid out why that’s a bad idea in other threads nor do I think an AD should force staff turnover. It has to be DeBoers decision but if he can’t see what this team lacks then he is either to prideful to admit a failure of approach and pivot or he lacks complete self awareness. Either of which gets him fired at the end of next season. Again if we just look at record and don’t pay attention to the product on the field it’s going to slip away quicker than fans realize. He has to make changes somewhere and they need to be physical and attitude changes. It’s obvious.

This is the problem in my opinion. Yes he was 10-2 regular season with an sec cg and a playoff win but if you will honestly look at this season Bama was as close to 8-4 as they were to 10-2. This program will never be what you want it to be until we see a return to a disciplined hard nose team that plays physical football. If not we will get what you see now a streaky team that wins some games and some that they shouldn’t but we won’t see a consistent level of play you can build on like what we are seeing with an Indiana team that’s being led by a former Saban assistant that has as close to a Saban mentality as I’ve seen as that’s including Kirby Smart.
