Cuba was put on notice by the blockade, almost all their energy came from Venezuela at heavily discounted prices. Cuba's economy is imploding right now.
Cuba has been heavily dependent on their oil and a whole lot of other things. This is bad news for the regime there.

Ty is a good QB. Gumps would be dumb to drop him.
Agree,,,,with no running game and a god awful OL he outperformed,
Ty's arm bailed out Bama from more losses this year.

But not expecting to be blown out and quit is not nostalgia. It is a baseline standard. The amount of times that has happened in the last 30+ years is in the single digits and 3 of them have now occurred under our $10 million coach and it’s happened on stages where we usually take great pride in excelling: championship stages
We aren’t demanding Saban-era invincibility. We are asking for two things that should translate in any era: compete on the biggest stages and do not quit.
Losing happens. Getting overwhelmed, unprepared, or unraveling when it matters most is not “the landscape.” That is identity.
So yes, reset expectations on outcomes but like hell do we not reset expectations on effort, toughness, and composure. I’ve come to terms with accepting that the “standard” is lowered but a majority of Alabama fans do not, will not, and should not, accept looking like you do not belong. That’s what happened in two of the last three games.
Well said

I will make the same defense of him that I made for BK at the time. He isn't trash right now, he's winning over 70% of his games. Who else are you realistically going to get that's absolutely better? You have to give him at least another two years to get the buyout down.
Reasonable post
I like DeBoer and am pulling for him to be successful and it’s impossible to fire him now and there isn’t anyone today that could reasonably be considered. He is a 10-11 win coach that can probably get you to the playoffs but that is his ceiling.
It’s not that we lost last night it’s getting throughly dismantled. Indiana looked like old Bama. He started out the season with an embarrassing loss to FSU and looked wholly unprepared. He ended the season getting blasted by UGA and IU. He wins the games his supposed to but beyond that I don’t know.

You are a seasonal 4 loss team now and your only concern is beating LSU?
Two losses were post-season and we damn sure don't lose to L3U

Gut feeling? No. However there are a litany of reasons why I think he’s the coach at the start of 2027.
Agree......he is coaching us the next two years....he is good enough to win enough games not to get fired

A loss like that one is the kind that Saban would put on programs and they'd never be the same afterwards. I want to say that 2015 beating Alabama put on Michigan State sorta ended the peak of the Dantonio era and they were mostly in a decline after that Cotton Bowl game.
Do you think DeBoer can really come back from this?

Ole Miss lost their coach and are playing tough, inspired football. Bama looked like they didn't want to be there and folded.
