get that, but maybe just maybe Deuce doesn’t hold the ball forever like the other 2

For most of the Kentucky game it looked to me like the ball barely got to them before the defense.

Granted I was extremely intoxicated 5 minutes into that abomination.
The defense has been amazing, but I don't have much of an opinion on Durkin right now as HC. It is nice we get to see a trial run.

If we pass him over, expect him to leave. But that is part of the risk. And if we are being honest, defense has been a strength at AU for most of our time with the "offensive guys" we have hired as HC.

I like his passion, but we need to see how he does with the team overall in these remaining games. He is literally the only possible coach we get to kick the tires with.

And jang was right. We should have went hard on Lane.

Looking at the old threads was a kick in the nuts. All the threads about Lane's imminent annoucement. He was meeting with his players... etc.

I had actually blocked out how deflating it all was.

Just popping in to say I think Freeze would be a really strong hire at Auburn. He will have y’all competing in the West every year.

Thanks for the kind words.

I think we are fricked

Drinkwitz has won 10 games in the Sec twice in a row at Mizzou. They were dog shite before him.

I agree. He was a young HC and is doing remarkably well at Mizzou.
LOL
Never change Auburn. Never change.

They're just high on the idea that we have a great defense and a lot of talent already, so if you promote Durkin then he keeps the roster together on that side of the field at least so there is a chance for a quick turnaround to wins if he can hire a legit offensive staff.

I think there is a fear that if he leaves it will somehow get much worse.

I don't have an issue with this being his audition as a backup if we strike out on top tier candidates --- but I agree with you in that I think the fear of getting worse and losing the players is not enough for Durkin to be the recipient of a knee jerk hire.
Can we bring back the "this is dog.." images :)

I don't disagree, I am just in more of "they all suck" mode atm.

Sigh. I wish that was me, but I still cannot get my Betamax to stop blinking 12:00.

As an old man yelling at clouds, this streaming bullshite has turned into a complete mess.

I seem to remember people thinking streaming would let us cut costs and be more selective and pay for channels or services we actually wanted.

Now they all seem to raise rates all the time and these contract disputes make it where you cannot watch the stuff that actually made you subscribe in the first place.

How does someone on YouTube get away with streaming a game that is being broadcast on ESPN?

It is kind of like whack a mole. They run until shut down then another one pops up. That has been my experience, at least. I was told there are certain apps that will find those streams for you.

There appears to be a new sheriff in town.
