Isn't it illegal to do that to a corpse?

Kiffin left Tennessee for the same reason Saban left LSU.
No, Kiffin left Tennessee to go to a better opportunity. Saban left LSU for the NFL.

So what does that make LSU?
A 2 time national champ and 3 time SEC champ since Saban left. :dunno:

He really needs to be fired after the things he has said about Verge being an Uncle Tom, calling Rousse's Mom a terrible parent
Did he actually say this?

Didn't some commentator get hit in the head with an object at some kind of gameday type event at LSU years ago?
I'd like to see that happen to Finebaum.
I'd like to see that happen to Finebaum.

Well, the way they've talked about him and Verge......................I think it will be a very long time before you see LSU extend any grace of any kind to any other conference "partner".

That contract will be voided without penalty when he catches a charge.
I was a bit busy this evening.

Can anyone update me on the SEC meeting today. Was LSU voted out?

Eh why give him the attention he seeks
Not towards Finebaum.
They can just be general statements directed towards anyone that feels like they can denigrate LSU from the shadows. If they're connected to another state's government or flagship institution and they're waging some kind of war against LSU, the people in charge of LSU need to let them know that we're listening and we'll fight back against anything we see as unjust.

Here is the one Kiffin has broken repeatedly.
The rule that prevents coaches from making derogatory statements about the league, its member schools, or its referees is SEC Bylaw 10.5 (specifically Bylaws 10.5.2 and 10.5.3), along with the SEC Commissioner’s Regulations on Public Criticism.
The rules govern public conduct, ethical behavior, and sportsmanship across the conference. They are broken down into specific restrictions:
SEC Bylaw 10.5.2 (Criticism of Member Institutions): This rule states that coaches and administrators must refrain from any public criticism of other member institutions, their staffs, or their players.
Penalties for Violations
When a coach violates these rules, the SEC Commissioner has the authority to issue immediate disciplinary actions. Depending on the severity or frequency of the comments, penalties typically include:
Official public reprimands
Substantial institutional fines (often starting at $25,000 to $50,000 or more)
Suspensions from future contests for repeated or egregious behavior.
A lot of Kiffin’s tweets, his comments insinuating Ole Miss and the state of Mississippi are racist, and his little halftime quip were all detrimental to the conference and it’s members. So he clearly broke this rule. Multiple times.
So the SEC will also have to penalize Sark, Heupel, and Elko all for things they've said recently about Kiffin then. If not, LSU will not accept any kind of punishment and we'll just sue in Louisiana court for first amendment violation and we'll win.

We get it. You're scared of Kiffin. Your favorite is still gonna have to suit up and play against his team in Tiger Stadium, and Governor Landry will be there.
Speaking of Governor Landry, did you know the FBI Director is alligator hunting with him and Louisiana's AG today?
