I don't get it either. If a kid has graduated, and has eligibility left, he should have the right to go where he damn well pleases. That University has already gotten at least three years of his services and he has obviously put forth the effort in the classroom.

Should probably go somewhere other than Tennessee or Auburn then IMHO IYAM.

Nah I really don't give a fvck, though it is kind of like "really man?".

There is something to being a bit peterved at investing 4 years in training and resources with a kid to see him then go use it at your biggest rival. Should you be able to stop him from that? Probably not. Is it understandable to be a biy irritated by it when there are lots of other great grad school program options that aren't trying to slit your throat on a daily basis? I think so.

I didn't say a negative thing about Bama, yet Triple Daves is in here being petty and disrespectful.

I'm sure his hog is massive. But what if Kennedy initiated contact? What then?

We took your ex-coach in and gave him a job, reduced your buyout, and we gave you our DC. We let you have Pruitt and this is the thanks we get?

It's getting really hard to defend this "rivalry" anymore. Your weasel AD fricked us and we are trying to help you. We were nice enough to extend the olive branch to get your program out of the shitter and you have no gratitude?

Honestly I think once a kid finishes his time and degree he's free to do whatever.

I also have no problem making it clear to him that, if he has other big program options, that our program and coaches would be pretty dissapointed/pissed if he went to Tennessee or Auburn (over say Oregon or Florida State). But, he's free to do whatever he wants.

Saban is just preventing him from making a bad career choice by choosing Tennessee or Auburn.

Which is why Dabo didn't block Belk from going to USC despite the obvious tampering that was going on. The new transfer rules are going to make recruiting of other teams rosters more of a thing.

You throw around accusations like that, you better be able to prove it.

Kennedy is a Grad transfer, his situation is different from Belk's.
