I think Arky, SC, and UGA all go 11-1 losing to Okie St or 12-0 last year...

We don't have to stop at 2011, we've been stomping a mud hole in your arse for a better part of 70 years. Now run along Gomer or you'll be late for Yell Practice or some such crap.

GTFO out of here w/ that weakness. Sagarin's skewed & inflated ratings mean dick. Okie St. was the only bevo conf. Team that could've been competitive in the SEC West, much less the entire conf.

Vanderbilt would have done better than 6-6. They would have battled Kstate for 2nd. OU had no run game, no pass game once Broyles went down, no secondary, and a blah D overall. Texas would have only been better than Ole Miss, Tech would have been Tennessee, the rest are so bad to not be worth mentioning.

Baylor would have had RG3 out for the season by the 3rd conf. Game which would have ended their hopes.

You have only won 3 of your last 15 bowl games.

Your gonna have to do better or GTFO of the SEC

Some people claimed that Arkansas was the 3rd best team in the SEC last year. Did we not compete with them? The game was pretty close imo, and we were making them look stupid most of the game. Same with Okie State. Those teams beat us by a combined 4 points.

Yeah I agree about Baylor. We dominated RG3.

Don't let these ranturds fool you. Arkansas is not he 3rd best team in the SEC West.

AM will not consistently be better than three of the teams in the SEC West. It will be business as usual.

No shite, 1st or 2nd at worst. Can't wait to see how that #3 spot gets sorted out with AU and State. Sure was a good game last year, came down to the wire.

Umm last season Arkansas was the 3rd best team in the SECW. By a pretty large margin too.

Just a face palm for the op. that's not even good trolling. We earned that 6-6 record. It doesn't taste good, but the record. Doesn't lie and there have been hirings and firings over it.

Check the 2011 Sagarin computer rankings. The best Big East strength of schedule was 48th. The ACC topped out at 42. The SEC had eight teams in the top 25. The Big 12 had 10 of the top 13.

It is very hard to have accurate computer rankings without enough cross conference games. It is just like running any type of statistical analysis without enough data points. It simply doesn't work.

Look at his NBA rating or NFL ratings where he has a smaller number of teams and more games and they make more sense. The college football ratings don't pass the smell test. It isn't Sagarin's algorithm, it is the number of teams and not enough games.

In the real world, the Big 12 had ZERO teams that could have beaten LSU or Bama, maybe two that would have finished in the top HALF of the SEC, and the rest would have been on the level of Ole Miss if they played in the SEC.

Good day to you, sir.

The record doesn't tell the whole story for aTm. They choked away every close game they had all season. They were the worst second half team in America. They had OSU and Arky beaten badly and stopped playing. Mizzou outscored them 21-3 in 4th/OT. Arky 25-3 2nd half. OSU 27-9 2nd half. KSU wasn't as bad but they allowed 17 4th quarter points to allow overtime. Longhorns 20-9 2nd half.

The only game that the Ags got soundly beaten in was the OU game. This could have easily been an 11-1 team. So they were plenty talented, however they also had a talent for giving away games when they had huge leads.

So does that overwhelming SOS justify home losses to 7-5 Mizzou and Texas teams?

eta: Not once have I talked shite about A&M's season but threads like this is where I see why others do.
