Voting Republican is stupid They don't care about their constituents they care about their donors
Voting for most of the incumbent republicans is stupid.

I heard an economics prof who fled Venezuela explain it like this:
Political leaders in socialist countries are corrupt.
Political leaders in capitalist countries are corrupt.
Capitalist countries succeed because business owners strive to please customers.
Socialists countries fail because political leaders run businesses and don't give a shite about customers.
So, voting for a stupid republican is better than voting for a smart democrat because the Dems want socialism.

If the Dems win the presidency they will pass Means Testing. If you have a net worth of 1 Million at age 65 you forfeit all of your SS.

Awwww… you still think Biden still has good cognitive function. That’s cute…

Well, I think Biden could win a wrestling cage match against Hillary. But it would be close.
This one is worse than most. The mayor is a crook. But he gets elected because most of the voters are in the theft business.

There's more free speech on the internet than last year.
It was more than a tea tax. The Brits did stuff like claim ownership of our forests so they could get lumber. They banned sheep because it competed with their mutton prices. We asked for American reps in the Parliament and they refused.
One good thing was that when the Revolution began there were Brits in that Parliament who voted against attacking the colonists because 'they are our cousins.'

Yep. And about 15 minutes ago I found a new site from UK that looks really good. It's fast moving, concise with excellent videos. Here is their homepage...

Oof, that song is pretty bad.

It was a bad period for pop songs. Hard rock (now called classic rock) period had ended and disco came in.

Not going to happen and this is why people remain so angry economically. We are not going back to pre-covid affordability. If we did it means we are in a brutal deflationary depression. You need to hope prices stabilize and wages grow.

Yeah, I saw an article about how 'Dollar Stores' are no longer selling anything for a dollar. This isn't new. When I was a kid there were places called 'Dime Stores.'
In the 1950s the Dems said 'The Republicans are for the Millionaires.' Now, it's 'They're for the Billionaires.'

Hmmm, I wonder if she could win a debate against Kamala Harris.

Personally, I don’t even acknowledge people who don’t speak English in the US. Sorry I’m just not dealing with you in any capacity

Your chances of upward mobility in the job market is extremely limited if you don't speak English. It's becoming the language of international business.
It's also the most specific language. English has several levels between 'cute' and 'gorgeous.' Some languages only have one level... their version of 'pretty.'
Ironic that the EU is worried about being taken over by Putin but they're heading for Soviet style censorship.
My nephew was a communist until age 30 when he never held a job better than waiting tables. He also couldn't find a wife. Then he landed a job paying over 100K and noticed the income taxes he was paying. Now he's a capitalist. And he immediately found a wife.
When I drove to Starbucks about 5:45 a.m. Mon. and Tue. I passed the Wal-Mart parking lot. There were over 150 cars in their lot, waiting for them to open at 6 a.m. I've never seen that before.

Ex, aging hippies that still think it's 1967 and they can save the world by carrying their fatasses out to a march.

I lived through it and can assure you that less than 5% of boomers were hippies. And a lot of them became your college professors.

Yep, and I am glad that I did. It ended up being a serious situation

You can get rid of contacts and glasses. Just get lens replacement surgery. It's quick, painless, gives you 20-20 vision and it only costs 10K out-of-pocket after insurance.
If you're on welfare the ER is your emergency room. It's free of charge. My wife has tons of stories. My favorite is a young democrat woman coming in complaining 'My hairs hurt!' The ER doctor was getting tired of her crap so he gave her an injection using the most thick needle they had filled with a harmless liquid that burns. Then said, "Go home and you'll be fine in a couple of hours."

The one thing I think the fed needs to get involved with is banning corporations or groups of very rich individuals (especially those not based in the US) from buying up inventory with cash offers at 20-30 percent over asking price. That shite is not good for the average American or the housing market

Here's a problem that came up locally but may be a nationwide issue. A young middle class married couple (no kids, both work) want a small, nice apartment in a decent neighborhood where they can save money for a house when they have kids. These days those apartments are expensive if they're not in a big complex. But residents of that decent neighborhood lobby to block construction of apt complexes. Is this creating a problem for young people today? It was no problem when I got married in the 70s.
