Their history was pretty impressive. They invented a lot of math and the Asians and Europeans in early history borrowed a lot from their books. But that was over 1,000 years ago.
The Brits were actually relieved that the new nation was at least colonized by the English. Years before that there was a real possibility Spain was gonna take over the place like they had done further south. That sure would have changed history a LOT.
Socialism is against human nature. A person is naturally most concerned with himself and his family. Next comes his friends and neighbors. I don't care about starving children in Mexico. My dog is much more important.

Good post. But re: liberal college profs...I'm a boomer and had a few lib profs back in the day. But they stuck to teaching the subject and did not interject their political opinions. Things have changed now. Glad I missed it.
I don't like Maher regardless of his opinions. His style defines the word 'Smarmy'.

I don't think causing chaos is as much a motive as protecting a very large Dem voting block. Illegal aliens and dead people vote 100% Dem in key swing states.

I voted Fleming but I understand why Trump supported Letlow and why I don't have a problem with that. It's about age. Fleming is about 40 years older than Letlow and wouldn't be serving long if he had won. Letlow knows her win is due to Trump's influence so she's not gonna piss off Trump fans if she wants to be re-elected.

The major characteristic of poor people is they have no sense of delayed gratification. In the old days us poor teenagers just said 'no' to our chance for expensive fun with the gang so we could afford our first used car in order to get a job that required a car. Today's kids don't look past next week.

Here's the problem the Dem centrists will have in Nov. If I'm a centrist Dem voter I might have absolute confidence in my centrist Dem incumbent. However, I also know that he will be pressured to always vote with the party and the party is heading in the commie direction. Will he always stand against the pressure of his party or will he sometimes relent? Safer to vote for the GOP guy running ads about how much he hates commies.

The text messages I've gotten from Letlow are beyond negative. She's accused Fleming of everything except raping kindergarten children.
JLC was rumored to be one of those 'both' creatures....dick and pussy. That was about 30 years ago. She denied it but never gave proof. Not a photo, just a statement from her gynocologist would be OK. But she never did anything to counter the rumor.
If the rumor is true I feel very sorry for her. It must have been tough in school. If she pissed off some mean girls they would just say: 'Oh, go frick yourself!'

Corn should never be used as the rough on a golf course. When you hit your shot 4 rows into the tall field it's easy to find your ball but impossible to hit it out.
